六年级下册Unit 10 Waiting for Another Hare教学设计棠澍小学:刘洁娜 一、教学内容分析:  第十课主要内容分为借书用语和寓言故事两局部而本课时的教学内容是一篇中国古代寓言故事,教学内容趣味性较强,又具有一定的教育意义通过寓言故事的教学让同学充沛发挥丰富想象力,让同学懂得如何用英语讲故事和扮演寓言故事,并借此训练同学的写作能力  二、同学况情分析:  到了六年级下学期同学的年龄和身心已接近初中生的水平,有自主的思维和行为方式,他们比较喜欢自主和有挑战性的学习;他们善于利用自身的想象力去学习和使用语言,老师要提供更多可发挥想象的情景和空间,给予他们更多的自主学习和探索的机会,才干真正引起和坚持同学对英语的兴趣,提高学习的效率;他们已经基本养成了良好的学习习惯,乐于和同学分享自身的学习经验和方法,不但对英语科有浓厚的兴趣,而且还有一定的基础和了解他们喜欢和老师一起去学习,一起解决学习上的难题具备初步的运用英语进行听、说、读、写的能力,喜欢生动有趣和自主学习的方式,乐于和他人通过合作进行学习  三、教学战略:通过让同学唱歌曲从而引出农夫和野兔揭示课题利用同学对故事有浓厚的兴趣,去讲述本寓言故事。

经过老师的多次讲述,同学也从中不知不觉地学习讲故事同时通过同学自主学习和小组合作交流的法式去学习单词和短语,并运用中理解单词的含义和用法在课文学习方面,因为故事、寓言的趣味性较强,同学具备初步的运用英语进行听、说、读、写的能力,可以用各种各样的自主思维学习练习,让同学达到理解甚至讲出这个故事的要求  四、教学目标:  (一)语言知识目标:  1、掌握本课单词以和短语(单词:field, suddenly, hare, ground, certainly, himself;短语:pick up, from then on, any more, all day long, wait for);  2、能理解并能在key words的协助下复述或讲述整个故事;  3、发挥想象力看图写话,把一个故事用英语写下来  (二)语言技能目标:  1、能简单复述或扮演课文中的故事  2、通过对寓言故事的学习,培养同学连贯说英语的能力  (三)思想情感目标:  1、能通过合作学习,培养合作精神  2、通过老师的引导培养同学的爱读书的习惯;  3、通过寓言的学习和结局的创作,促进同学学习的积极性,使同学体验到用英语表达情感的乐趣,增强英语学习自信心。

  (四)学习战略目标:  小组合作学习,发展同学灵活运用英语的能力和语言写作能力  (五)文化意识目标:  让同学更好地了解中国的寓言故事用英语是怎样表达  五、教学重、难点:  教学重点:复述寓言故事  教学难点:“To pick up a hare is certainly easier than to work in the fields.”六、教学过程:(一)Preparation  1、Listen a song “Right here waiting for you.”  (设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,带出课题  2、揭示课题  通过让同学观看课件的画面,引出同学说出单词hare,并区别“rabbit与hare” 利用同学对故事有浓厚的兴趣,引出一个有关farmer与hare的故事从而引入课题学习Unit 10 Waiting for Another Hare.(二) Presentation and Practice.1.突破难点A.Miss Liu is waiting for you to play a game学生读绕口令课件呈现 :a. 坡上立着一只鹅,坡下就是一条河。

宽宽的河,肥肥的鹅,鹅要过河,河要渡鹅不知是鹅过河,还是河渡鹅?b. How many cookies could a good cook cook If a good cook could cook cookies? A good cook could cook as much cookies as a good cook who could cook cookies. B.学生通过对比得出结论To speak Chinese is certainly easier than to speak English.C.学生齐读:1.To say is certainly easier than to do. 2. To sweep the floor is certainly easier than to cook a dinner.D.选择填空:To ____________ is certainly easier than to _______________.A. write a story B. read a storyE.四人小组讨论,操练教学难点“To _______is certainly easier than to ________.”        (这个环节里,学生操练教学难点 “To pick up a hare is certainly easier than to work in the fields.”,在突破难点的基础上为学习新知识做好准备。

2.示题:课件呈现四幅寓言故事的图片,学习词组Chinese Ancient Fables. “Today I’ll tell you a Chinese Ancient Fable - Waiting for Another Hare. 3.展示预习情况,四人小组教单词及词组waiting for, pickup, ground, field, hare, fable, himself, certainly, from then on, any more, all day long, wait for(这个环节里,学生通过以旧引新,音标拼读等方法教单词,让学生重视预习教师在这个过程中放手让学生教,从旁指导,以达到先学后教的效果)   4. 带着问题去看课文课件.A. When did the story happen ?B. Who was in the story?C. Where did the story happen ? D. What happened in the story?  (设计意图:给同学一次全面理解、认知课文的机会,同时让他们有一次语言输入的机会,带出一些写作的要素,为下面的环节做好充沛的准备。

 5、Read the story and answer the questions in groups. 小组讨论写出疑难点,老师巡查   (设计意图:通过朗读,加大同学的语言输入量提出问题让同学解答是检查同学是否对课文理解通过小组学习,同学可以互相协助培养合作精神,另外,小组把疑难点找出,其他组的同学可以协助解决既能充沛发挥同学学习的积极性,也让老师知道他们对本课有那些不明之处,让教与学更加有针对性,一起解决重难点三)Consolidation. 1、Try to tell the story.  A、 老师给出提示句,挖空单词填空  B、同学看提示句复述故事  (设计意图:给同学说英语的机会,也加强他们对故事有更深刻的认识,同时也为下一环节扮演做好准备  2、Act out the story .  教师叫同学到教坛前扮演故事,其他同学配音  (设计意图:让同学在此活动中可发明性地使用语言,培养同学的想象力、发明力和引导同学体验参与,培养合作精神  4、小结寓意  教师鼓励同学说出本故事的寓意和看法,然后教师小结:做事不要抱着侥幸的心里和想着坐享其成No pains no gains . Don’t wait for another hare. Go for it.  (设计意图:检查同学是否能从故事中明白了一些做人的道理。

培养他们良好的生活与学习习惯B、全班跟老师一起说故事     (四)Development1. We should never wait for another hare. Go for it. In the cartoon, Tom never waits for another hare, he always tries his best to go for something.看猫和老鼠的动画片A.仔细阅读故事,完成下面的练习.One day, Jerry and his father were sitting in a hole. Jerry was very hungry. There was a plate of fish on the floor. But Tom was beside the fish. He was sleeping. Jerry’s father asked Jerry to go and eat the fish. Jerry went to the fish slowly and carefully. Suddenly Tom opened his two big eyes. Jerry ran back to the hole at once. Tom ran very fast after Jerry. Jerry’s father shouted at Tom “Wong, wong.” Tom ran away at once and they were safe again.B.回答问题.a. When did the story happen ? b. Who was in the story? c. Where did the story happen ? C What do you learn from the story?(完成阅读的内容,为写作做准备。

)(设计意图:小组合作学习,发展同学灵活运用英语的能力和语言写作能力,也发展了同学的想象能力  (五)Homework:  1.a.完成课内的看图写话The hare and the turtle b.用自己的话叙述“Waiting for another hare”(选择其中一个) 2.双基同步导学导练U10的P47—P49的笔试部分。
