And understand the functions of relative
4、 pronouns.(设计目的:教师展示例句帮助学生理解定语从句中的基本结构,再总结出引导词的基本功能以帮助学生接下来的深入学习。)Step3: the usage of relative pronouns:关系代词的使用1.关系代词: who先行词指人,在从句中作主语或宾语l The professor visited our school yesterday。l The professor is from Canada.l 合并句子: The professor who visited our school yesterday is from Canada.2. 关系代词: whom先行词
5、指人,在从句中作宾语。(作宾语可省略)l The man is my teacher.l my mother saw the man in the street l 合并句子The man (whom) my mother saw in the street is my teacher. 3. 关系代词: which先行词指物,在从句中作主语、宾语、表语。(作宾语可省略)l These are the trees.l Trees were planted last year.l 合并句子:These are the trees which were planted last year.l We
6、 are discussing some problems.l We meet some problems.l 合并句子:we are discussing some problems (which) we meet. 4. 关系代词: that先行词既可指认也可指指物,在从句中作主语、宾语、表语。(作宾语可省略)l The girl is Mary.l The girl is standing there.l 合并句子:The girl that is standing there is Mary.5. 关系代词: whose先行词既可指认也可指指物,在从句中作定语。l This is th
