2、ssively.这个句子读下来，没有难度的，与昨天的句子有类似的地方在于长长的定语从句修饰，此句的定语从句还稍复杂一些，从句中还包含了宾语从句。如果我们把定语去掉，只留下主干部分，那么整个句子就看起来异常简单了：people（定语）are likely to act aggressively, whereas people（定语） are less likely to behave aggressively.这些人可能有攻击性，但是这些人不怎么有攻击性。who believe that aggression is necessary and justified-as during wartim

5、，这个句子是没有难度，没有不认识的单词，该句就是单词多了一些，是属于长句，不属于难句。唯一让我有点疑惑的可能是最后那句话： there is to know in a very limited area，这是修饰all么？为什么要学这个句子？这个句子可以帮助我们自己写长句子。中间有一个or，连接词，把 a young man 和 a coed 并列在一起，然后共同用一个谓语 may very well be learning。我自己最想学的是用各种定语，最好是定语从句来修饰名词，然后再加一个谓语，这样主谓之间就隔离的非常远，这是写出长句子的必备要素之一，这句话中，a man，前面有一个youn

8、of plant life).一遍读完，发现还是生词阻碍了理解句子的意思。如果知道evaportranspiration，那是不是就知道整句话大概是在说什么了？事实上这个evaportranspiration是在后面有解释（水分流向大气通过蒸发和植物生长过程）。 evapotranspiration 蒸发蒸腾作用。另外要判断while在句子中是表示转折还是顺承关系。怎么判断？没有别的办法，就是先看看表示转折能不能说得通，如果说不通，那就只能表示顺承的意思，相当于 when/as，当时候。在这16年中，雨水从1000毫米降至650毫米每年，雨水少了，是不是就意味着天气热，天气热就意味着蒸发得快。然后分句while接着说高于平均的温度加速了evapotranspiration的速度。什么叫蒸腾，括号内给出了解释。所以这个while没有转折的意味。整句解释：在1970至1986年之间，这个地区的降水量从每年的1000毫米降至650毫米，与此同时，高于平均的温度加速了蒸腾作用（蒸腾是指水通过蒸发和植物生长过程流向大气层的速度。
