2013年首届“中国-欧盟食品、农业和生物技术研究与创新合作专家研讨会”和第三届“中国-欧盟食品、农业和生物技术工作小组会议”上,双方决定共同发起欧盟-中国FAB旗舰计划,并确定了互利共赢的目标和双方共同关心的领域随后,2013年11月21 H,欧盟-中国FAB旗舰计划正式在中欧领导人峰会上发布,中国农业科学院与欧盟委员会签署了关于食品、农业和生物技术研究与创新合作的意向书同时,首届中欧高层创新合作对话(ICD)也宣布实施该项计划The EU-China Task Force on Food, Agriculture and Biotechnologies was createdin 2011 as thematic working group under the Joint Steering Committee for EU ChinaS&T Cooperation. Through extended discussions among experts from both sides at theEU-China Experts' Seminar on R&I Cooperation on FAB and at the 3rd EU-China FABTask Force meeting in October 2013, mutually beneficial objectives and areas ofcommon interests were identified. Subsequently, the EU-China FAB Flagship Initiativewas officially launched at the EU-China Summit on 21 November 2013 with thesignature of a Letter of Intent on Research and Innovation Cooperation in FAB betweenthe European Commission and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).It was also announced during the 1 st EU-China Innovation Cooperation Dialogue(ICD)in November 2013.确保中国向更加可持续的农作物生产系统发展符合欧盟利益,因为随着市场日益全球化,中国农业的不可持续性发展可能会对全球市场产生较大的连带影响。

Ensuring sustainable food production systems in China will alsoincrease global trade predictability, overall productivity, transparency of the foodsupply chain and resource-efficiency.。
