农业发展汉译英I——参考译文(选自中欧FAB旗舰计划)中国与欧盟同为世界上最大的粮食产地，拥有共同的目标：携手解决与粮食安全、健康饮食、动物健康、可持续农业相关的各大挑战食品、农业和生物科技(FAB)的研究与创新合作能够为解决以上共同的全球性挑战做出重大贡献Being the two biggest food producers in the world, China and the EU share acommon goal to join forces for addressing challenges related to food security, healthydiets, animal health and sustainable agriculture. Research and innovation cooperationin Food, Agriculture and Bio-technology (FAB) can make a major contribution to theseimportant common and global challenges.中国-欧盟食品、农业和生物技术工作小组成立于2011年，是中欧科技合作指导委员会框架下的专题领域工作小组。
2013年首届“中国-欧盟食品、农业和生物技术研究与创新合作专家研讨会”和第三届“中国-欧盟食品、农业和生物技术工作小组会议”上，双方决定共同发起欧盟-中国FAB旗舰计划，并确定了互利共赢的目标和双方共同关心的领域随后，2013年11月21 H,欧盟-中国FAB旗舰计划正式在中欧领导人峰会上发布，中国农业科学院与欧盟委员会签署了关于食品、农业和生物技术研究与创新合作的意向书同时，首届中欧高层创新合作对话(ICD)也宣布实施该项计划The EU-China Task Force on Food, Agriculture and Biotechnologies was createdin 2011 as thematic working group under the Joint Steering Committee for EU ChinaS&T Cooperation. Through extended discussions among experts from both sides at theEU-China Experts' Seminar on R&I Cooperation on FAB and at the 3rd EU-China FABTask Force meeting in October 2013, mutually beneficial objectives and areas ofcommon interests were identified. Subsequently, the EU-China FAB Flagship Initiativewas officially launched at the EU-China Summit on 21 November 2013 with thesignature of a Letter of Intent on Research and Innovation Cooperation in FAB betweenthe European Commission and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS).It was also announced during the 1 st EU-China Innovation Cooperation Dialogue(ICD)in November 2013.确保中国向更加可持续的农作物生产系统发展符合欧盟利益，因为随着市场日益全球化，中国农业的不可持续性发展可能会对全球市场产生较大的连带影响。

Ensuring sustainable food production systems in China will alsoincrease global trade predictability, overall productivity, transparency of the foodsupply chain and resource-efficiency.。
