1、Starter Unit 3 What color is it? 一、单元教材分析本单元主要围绕“询问颜色”这一主题展开各种教学活动，并以这一主题引出表颜色的单词，问颜色的特殊疑问句及其回答等语言功能。同时学习了字母SsZz、复习巩固所学的全部 26 个英语字母、总结归纳了元音字母 a、e 、i 、o 和 u的发音规则。在整个单元学习中注意给学生创造一个轻松、快捷记单词、愉快的学习、交流环境，通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学” （learning by doing） ，通过有限的课堂实践活动，注意观察别人的行动，能准确地用英语来表达。通过本单元教学，使学生能
2、运用所学英语，正确地描述物体的颜色；同时熟练掌握所学的 26 个英语字母。 二、单元学情分析本单元紧紧围绕“询问颜色”这一话题，把字母、有关颜色的日常交际用语、词汇有机地结合起来。话题贴近学生的实际生活，学生们能很容易地将自己的生活体验用英语轻松地表达出来。七年级的学生对英语很感兴趣，学习热情很高，有学习英语的愿望和兴趣，乐于参与各种英语实践活动，在教学过程中，教师应以加以积极引导，恰当培养，让学生形成稳定的英语学习兴趣。学生们正处于成长发育阶段，记忆力较好，理解和认知水平还有待提高，因此在教学过程中应以师生互动为主，充分练习，展示个性，让学生们运用所学的知识来解决问题，实现课堂的实效性。此外
3、，应注意学生在学习的过程中很容易把“What color”错写成或错读成 “Whats color”，因此在练习中要反复强调。三、单元教学建议采用自主学习、小组合作学习、Role playing、 pair work 等方式开展听、说、读、写的学习活动。教师要尽量利用幻灯片、挂图、实物等给学生创造较为真实的英语情景，教师可以制作或让学生们制作各种颜色的卡片，整个教学过程应当自始至终在一种鲜明的色彩背景下进行，旨在营造那种为学生所喜爱的欢快气氛，教师应当在十种颜色上大做文章；在使用实物时要使颜色醒目；在组合图画时，要尽量用大色块；在使用投影时要使颜色突出来。 四、单元课时分配本单元可用 2 课时
4、完成教学任务：(1a-2e) 用 1 课时 (3a-4d) 用 1 课时 (1a-2e)一、教学目标： 1. 语言知识目标：1) 能掌握以下词汇：字母 Ss Zz, color, red, white, black, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown 2) 能掌握以下句型： Whats this? Its V. Whats that? Its Z. What color is it? Its red. 3) 使学生能运用所学知识熟练描述物体的颜色，同时进一步学习分辨物体的用语，并加以运用。4）能掌握字母 Ss Zz 的字母顺序，读音及书写。2. 情感态度价值
5、观目标：用各种可以调动学生积极性的活动来提高学生的活跃性，激发他们参与讨论的热情。让学生们能发表个人观点，努力解决问题；能学会与他人合作与交流；能运用多种手段为英语学习服务。同时可以对学生进行美育教育，从小培养他们对美的正确认识。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1) 使学生能运用所学知识熟练描述物体的颜色，同时进一步学习分辨物体的用语，并加以运用。2）学习掌握字母 Ss Zz 的字母顺序，读音及书写。2. 教学难点：学习掌握字母 Ss Zz 的字母顺序，读音及书写。三、教学过程. Warming-up and revision 1. Greet the Ss. Check the homewor
6、k.2. Review the letters Aa Rr. Let some Ss recite the letters. Then let some Ss come to the Bb and write them on the Bb. (注意和同学们一起纠正个别同学不正确的笔顺。)3. (Put some real objects on the teachers desk. e.g. orange, ruler, pen, key, jacket, cup) Ask Ss to answer the questions:T: Whats this in English? Ss: Its

Write the letter for each color. Ss write the letter next to the colors. Then let some Ss read their letters to check the answe
