1、1容词性从句的关系词关系代词：who, whom, which ,that, whose=of which /of whom关系副词： where=in /at .+whichwhen=in + which whosewhy = for whichhow一形容词性从句的定义：形容词性从句，一般称为定语从句，在句子中起定语作用，修饰一个名词或代词，有时可修饰一个句子被定语从句修饰的词叫作先行词，定语从句必须放在先行词的后面，由关系代词或关系副词引导；关系词充当从句的成分限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句（）限制性定语从句起限制作用，是主句不可缺少的部分，与先行词间无逗号，翻译时常译成前置定语：例如
2、：Those who want to go ,please sign their names here.（）非限制性定语从句起补充说明作用，省去后不影响主句的意思，并且常用逗号与主句分开；翻译时常译成并列的分句：例如：This note was left by Tom, who was here just now .3.只能用 that 而不用 which的情况（）先行词为 all, much, little, something , everything, thing , anything, nothing, few, the one 等不定代词时：例如：I mean the one _(t
3、hat/which) was bought the day before yesterday. (2)先行词被形容词最高级或被 only, any , few, little,no，all, one of 等修饰时：例如：It is the most important task_ (which/that) should be finished as soon. (3)先行词为数词或被序数词修饰时：例如：Look at these roses in the basket. You can see the two _(that/which) you gave me .(4)先行词中既有人又有物时
4、：例如：We were deeply impressed by the teachers and schools_ (that/which) we had visited.（）先行词在主句中作表语，或关系代词在从句中作表语：例如:she is no longer the girl_ (which/that) she was in her childhood.4. 不用 that的情况:(1)关系代词前有介词时：例如：This is the room _ ( A. which B. that C. in which D. in that) Chair Mao lived.(2)非限制性定语从句中
5、：例如：He has a brother ,_(who/which/that) works in a hospital.(3)先行词本身是 that时：2例如：The clock is that _(that/which) tells the time .(钟表是告诉人们时间的 ）关系代词 as(1)引导限制性定语从句，用于 such.as, the sameas 和 as many(或 as much).as结构中例如：Such books as you bought are useless.(2)引导非限制性定语从句，说明整个主句；从句的位置可在主句前主句中或主句后，常用逗号与主句隔开：例
