1、Cutter Compensation ApplicationClimb Milling (Radius Left - RL)Conventional Milling (Radius Right - RR)*Note: All Compensated program data is created from information contained in the “Radius Offset” column in the “Tool” table (if used) or, the “Radius Offset” on a Tool Def. program line.Using Right

2、 Hand cutters (as above)To leave material on the contour or pocket “ADD” the offset value to the value in the Radius Offset data on the Tool Def program line or the radius column of the tool table.To remove material on the contour or pocket “SUBTRACT” the offset value to the value in the Radius Offs

3、et data on the Tool Def program line or the radius column of the tool table.Simple Compensation RulesApplying compensation1) Move “Z” to its final programmed position before Compensation is applied (If necessary, one “Z” axis movement is permissible).2) Move (if possible) the cutter to a start posit

4、ion clear of the component at least the diameter of the cutter being used.3) Apply compensation at 90 Degrees to the next programmed movement. If the next programmed movement is not a one axis movement then create a horizontal or vertical movement beforehand so compensation can be applied at 90 degr

Applied at 90 degrees4) Apply compensation on 1 line (1 axis) only i.e. G41 X? or G41 Y?Cancelling compensation1) Do not move “Z” until after Compensation is cancelled.2) Move (if possible) the cutter to a finish
