教师说“Sarah and Wu Binbin are playing with toys. Look, so many numbers and letters are on the toys.”2）Look and predict.教师提问“What do they say?”，引导学生预测Sarah和吴斌斌的对话内容3）Watch and check.教师播放“Listen and say.”的动画，请学生验证自己的预测教师提问“Do you see ‘two’? Do you see number 3?”，学生回答后，教师引导学生在书上圈出“two”和“3”然后教师边指着插图中的单词“two”边说“I see ‘two’.”，示范如何描述看到的英文单词，并以同样的方式示范“I see number 3.”，描述看到的数字然后教师可简单回顾单元问题，如教师可以问学生“Is it fun to find numbers and letters on toys? We can learn English and have fun!”，引导学生理解主题意义2．操练并表演对话（1）Listen and imitate.教师播放“Listen and say.”的录音，学生模仿跟读。
2）Watch and act.教师播放“Listen and say.”的动画，引导学生关注Sarah和Wu Binbin的语气和动作教师布置表演任务学生结对进行练习，然后在全班表演3）Let’s assess.教师呈现评价标准在学生上台表演后，教师从“自信表达”“语言准确”和“肢体语言使用”等方面进行评价3．玩游戏，巩固核心语言（1）Find the numbers.教师组织学生玩“找数字”游戏，教师提问“What numbers do you see?”，请学生结对，观察教材中的插图并圈出其他的数字，如4、5等，比比看谁找得又快又准，并用核心句型“I see ...”进行表达2）Find the words.教师继续利用“Listen and say.”的插图，教师提问“What words do you see?”，带领学生一起寻找单词，找到数词four、seven、nine、six、two、three学有余力的学生可以尝试找出单词this、is、a、carrot，并引导学生连词成句，说出“This is a carrot.”巩固与拓展1．完成“Count and say.”活动，说出单词和字母的数量（1）Look and say.教师利用课件呈现“Count and say.”的插图并提问“What does Sarah see?”，学生回答后呈现“I see two letters.”。
教师追问“What letters are they?”，学生回答后，教师补充“I see two letters, W-e.”2) Count and say.教师提问“What does Chen Jie say?”，然后扮演陈杰示范说出单词的数量“I see one word. I see two words. I see three/... words.”，引导学生在示范中理解“I see ... words.”的意义教师还可以补充“I see one word, I.”等教师请学生再次观察单词“I”并提问“‘I’ is a word. But I is also a letter. Look at ‘am’. How many letters does it have?”，组织学生先数一数每个单词的字母数量，并说一说每个字母的名称音学生在数的过程中一方面巩固数词的用法，另一方面巩固字母的音和形3) Role-play.教师引导学生结对运用核心功能句“I see ... letters. I see ... words.”进行角色扮演，还可以对表达内容进行适当拓展，鼓励学生说出具体的字母以及对单词进行拼读。
