With the loss of time, he was left many traces on his body. He had gone 84 days without taking a fish, and he was very

Now I know more about the features of the character. As we know, in this passage, the author creates a pa

3、ttern of Code Hero. Everything about Santiago was old except his eyes and they were the same color as the sea and were cheerful and undefeated. Maybe, in some peoples eyes, failure and bad luck were permanent, but in Santiagos opinion, failure and bad luck dont have much effect on him, because he th

In this passage, Santiago said: “I may not be as strong as I think, but I know many tricks and I have resolutions”. He was always confident of himself and never lost the hope. Because of his str

He was capable of the decency, dignity, and even heroism. I think, Hemingway shows the deep understanding and of humanity and a deep faith through Santiago

Whats more, the dignity is essential to real life. Santiago was calm and had few words. He said a little, but these words were full of power

Besides, he treated Santiago very well and often helped him. However, the boys parents prevented him staying with Santiago, just because Santiago bad l

Though Santiago liked the little boy very much, he only said lightly: Thank you, you make me happy. Some people said that Santiago ended up with failure, because he got nothing except the fish

9、 bone at the end, though he got through the fierce fight. However, in some peoples eyes, Santiago was successful, because he showed a kind of spirit that makes people excited and encouraged. In fact, Santiago got tired, but he also got more experience and skill from this catching fish. In real life,

10、 we need a kind of spirit to achieve our goals and dreams. In my opinion, he was both successful and failed. He was successful, because he did everything carefully and positively, and he always kept strong will and he never gave up. He was failed because he only shared the process, while he didnt ca

If we only care about the process of work, not the results, perhaps we cannot get others admission. Nowadays, many companies just care about the res

Of course, we should share the process, and do everything positively and carefully. In this passage, Santiago had a complicated feeling to these fishes. He respected and loved them very much, because

13、 he regarded them as his brothers and he made a living by them, while he had to kill them, because he wanted to survive. In the passage, Santiago wanted to beat these sharks, the sea, and he also wanted to face himself. When we met difficulty and trouble, maybe we would choose give up, so we should

14、keep a strong will to finish our work. If a person doesnt have a strong will, he or she never succeeds. Now, many people lack courage and spirit to pursue dreams and happiness, because they fear to face troubles. Generally speaking, Santiago was an old man, but he was an admirable person, because we

No matter how difficult the thing was, he never gave up. He always kept clam heart to solve these problems. In a word, a man can be destroyed but not defeated. We cannot be defeated by any difficulty.
