I love to eat many different foods, but I like donuts best. 我喜欢吃多种不同的食物,但我最喜欢甜甜圈。 在英语中,表示“虽然”的although和表示“但是”的but不能同时使用,只能使用其中的一个。另外,because和so 也有这种用法。e.g. She likes

6、 singing, but I dont. 她喜欢唱歌,但是我不喜欢。Because it was raining hard, they didnt work on the farm.由于下大雨,所以他们没有在农场干活。【注意】表示“喜欢”like/love to do sth.like/love (doing) sth.表示“讨厌”hate to do sth. hate (doing) sth.3.either 的用法作副词,用在否定句句尾表示“也”。I havent read this novel before. She hasnt, either.我没有读过这部小说。 她也没有读过。作

7、代词,意为“两者之一”。多用在句式“either of + 名词复数/代词复数”中,其中,名词前需有限定词。Either of them can do it.他们俩谁都可以做这件事。作形容词,意为“任何一个”。此时either后面直接加名词。Come on Saturday and Sunday.
