10、sed in many situations in the world to keep two fighting groups from killing each other and Canada has been in this for many conflicts; in 1965 as Prime Minister he made sure Canada had its own flag, the Canadian Maple LeafPierre Trudeau- he became a very popular leader for some but not popular for

11、others as he was in power from 1968-1984; he made bilingualism a law (French and English are to be offered in government and business); he encouraged multiculturalism so people from around the world can enter Canada and still feel good about their past country; he made a law called the War Measures

12、Act to stop the terrorists in Quebec in 1970 which meant people lost their rights for awhile; he fought against Quebec trying to separate and he helped to bring a new constitution to Canada in 1982 called the Charter of Rights and FreedomsBrian Mulroney-he was the Prime Minister from 1984 to 1993; h
