3、要的。面对各种各样的教材,大多数的一线教师都感到喜忧参半。大家对百花齐放的教材局面感到开心,但同时也为不能很好地处理教材感到担忧和困惑。因此,客观、全面地认识教材是教师有效使用教材的前提条件。自九十年代初以来,外语界的学者们越来越关注学生的需要。教材作为实现教学大纲和英语课程的重要媒介,除了应该满足教学大纲的要求和英语教学规律,更应该要满足学生的需求。本研究通过对城市一级达标校、城市二级达标校和农村中学学生的调查,试图探讨高中英语(2007 人教版)教材的使用情况及学生的需求状况。运用定量定性的方式回答以下两个问题:1. 学生和教师对高中英语(人教版)这套教材的看法是怎么样的?城市学校和农村学

4、校是否有区别?城市一级达标校和城市二级达标校是否有区别?2. 根据学习者的需求,他们心目中的教材应该是怎么样的?从学生关于教材使用情况调查问卷涵盖的 26 个问题和几位学生的访谈我们可以得出以下结论:人教版高中英语教材在城市中学的使用情况比在农村中学的使用情况较好。城市中学的学生认为该套教材的练习与任务不能达到他们的需求。而农村中学的学生认为该套教材不能引起他们学习英语的兴趣并且实用性也不强。他们认为该套教材的内容与他们目前的语言水平不一致。从教师关于教材使用情况调查问卷涵盖的 24 个问题和几位教师的访谈我们可以得出以下结论:许多教师认为教材的内容容量无论是对教师还是对学生来说都太大,且教材

5、的大部分内容都是关于城市生活内容和生活方式,而这些话题对于农村学生来说就比较陌生,学习起来就很困难;教材对听力和翻译的要求过高而对口语和阅读的要求过低;初高中教材内容上衔接不起来;有些教材内容已经过时;教材不利于培养学生的自学能力和创新能力,等等。从学生需求调查问卷结果分析,我们可以得出以下结论:无论是城市中学的学生还是农村中学的学生都希望教材应该是实用而有趣的。它应该包含与他们日常生活密切相关、真实和多样化的主题。此外,教材的难度不应超过学生的语言学习能力。分析存在问题,笔者根据学生需求问卷调查对教材更好的使用和改革提出了具体的建议,具体如下:1.对教材编者提出的建议:加强与初中的衔接;选材

6、内容I闽南师范大学教育硕士专业学位论文贴近学生生活,提高学生的兴趣;提高教材的实用性;充分考虑不同地区学生的学习水平差异。2.对高中英语教师提出的建议:对教材内容进行科学地处理;调整教学的顺序;改变教学方法。当然,本论文也存在诸多的不足之处。首先,参与者的数量相对较少。其次,笔者只研究了人教版高中英语这套教材,而对全国范围内其他版本的高中英语教材没有研究。最后,调查问卷的设计还缺乏一定的客观性和全面性,有些问题反应的不够全面。关键词:英语教材分析;人教版;学生需求IIAbstractAbstractTextbooks are the core factor of foreign languag

7、e teaching. Under the circumstances oflack of learning foreign language in China, the teaching materials are very important to bothteachers and learners. With various kinds of new materials, most of the teachers have mixedfeelings. Some of them feel happy, but some are worried and confused. Therefor

8、e, anobjective and comprehensive understanding of the teaching materials is the prerequisite forthe teacher to use teaching materials effectively. Since 1990, experts have become more andmore concerned about the students needs and the students learning psychology. As animportant medium for teaching

9、syllabus and English curriculum, teaching materials shouldnot only meet the requirements of teaching syllabus and the rules of English teaching, butalso meet the students needs.This study tries to explore the usage of the New Senior English for China published byPeoples Education Press in 2007 and l

10、earners needs by investigation of the students in a keyhigh school, an ordinary high school in Zhangzhou city and students in rural middle school.The author uses quantitative and qualitative ways to answer the following two questions:1.Whether the teachers and students are satisfied with this textbo

Is there any differencebetween students in the in a key high school and an ordinary high school in Zhangzhou city?Is there any difference between the students from urban district and those from rural district?What are the ideal textbooks which could satisfy the needs of learners? From the learne

12、rsfeedback questionnaire about textbook and interview, we may draw the following conclusions:the students in urban high schools are satisfied with interests and difficulty, practicability,supplementary materials and physical make-up. But they arent satisfied with exercises andtasks. The students fro

13、m rural district arent satisfied with interests and difficulty,practicability and exercises and tasks. But they are satisfied with supplementary materials andphysical make-up. Except for interests and difficulty, students in the key high school aresatisfied with practicability, exercises and tasks,

14、supplementary materials, and physicalmake-up. 15、iew, we may draw thefollowing conclusions: except for practicability, all teachers are satisfied with objective andaims, teaching methodology, content compilation and interests. All in all, the teachers aresatisfied with NSEC in general. From the learners needs analysis questionnaire and interview,w

16、e may draw the following conclusions: both urban middle school students and rural middleschool students all hope that textbook should be practical and interesting; the content shouldbe authentic and related to their daily lives, and it should contain a variety of topics. Inaddition, the difficulty of the text should not exceed the students ability of language learning.In order to solve the existing problems, the author proposes some specific proposalsaccording to the learner
