Without dream, theres no goal; without dream, life is as flat as water. Theres nothing to strive for, nor the reason to strive
2、for it.President once said: “Everyone has lofty ideas, pursuits and dreams.” At present, as the Chinese dream becomes a hot topic in the public, I think realizing the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation has been the greatest dream of Chinese nation ever since the modern times. This dream integrates
3、 the long-cherished wishes of Chinese people in generations and reflects the collective interest of Chinese nation and its people. This dream is the common anticipation of every Chinese people.In fact, it is not difficult to have a dream. As the successor of the 21st century and the hope of our nati
4、on, we should establish an ambitious idea from childhood.Heres an inspirational youth story we are very familiar with-Li Yanhong, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Baidu.As “the most valuable privately owned brand in China”, Baidu has become an epitome of Chinese private enterprises over
5、the 12 years development. Li Yanhong, a man who was born after 1960s and has been pursuing his “Chinese dream” unremittingly, has received approval and highly comments from many circles.At the age of 19, he left his hometown-Yangquan, Shanxi with a traveling bag and entered Peking University, the dr
6、eam of many students.At the age of 23, he majored in computer in State University of New York, in Buffalo, U.S after graduating from Peking University.At the age of 31, he established the biggest search engine company in China-Baidu Network Technique Co., Ltd.August 5, 2005 is a day all the Baidu pe
7、ople should remember- the day when Baidu was listed in NASDAQ in America.However, this great news didnt satisfy Li Yanhong, instead, it motivated him to keep striving for the excellence. Theres no finishing line in his dictionary. He once talked about his opinion about crisis in the TV show “A Date
8、with Luyu” many years ago like this: “comparing with standing in the starting line and watching harvests, I prefer viewing today from the future perspective, and I often wonder what I will become in two years? This is something absolutely different from today.Such crisis awareness helped him stick t
9、o the attitude as a learner and explore continuously with overwhelmed pioneering spirit. It is also the same attitude that motivates him in the road to the biggest website in the Eastern hemisphere.The most beautiful footnote of Li Yanhong is concentration. Ever since Baidu was established, his drea

During the National Peoples Congress and the Chinese Political Consultative Conference in 2012, as a member of the twelfth national committee of CPPCC, Li Yanhong expressed very sincerely in the interview with a journalist from Chinese Youth Web that his dream can transcend the
11、internet and survives. “Let people acquire information and find what they need more equally and quickly”-thats the goal he has been striving for ever since the establishment of Baidu. What he did is more than focusing on the internet. He studies how to find a tool that facilitates people acquiring d
12、aily information more conveniently. Such “practicability” is not merely realized by the internet.If this dream comes true, Li Yanhong will attain more advantages than others, because he can “accept”-accept the opinions, pursuits and differences of others. Confronting with certain new challenges, he
13、can listen to the opinions of the majority attentively.He always believes that no matter how knowledgeable and experienced you are, you can only cover a very limited area. In a real team, everyone should share the established knowledge, experience and lessons with the newcomer selflessly, so that he
