1、6Important notIce to Buyers pre-regIstratIonClients who wish to bid on lots marked in the printed catalogue and in the eCatalogue (“Premium Lots”) may be requested by Sothebys to sign a deposit letter in the form prescribed by Sothebys, to complete the pre-registration application form and to delive
2、r to Sothebys a deposit of HK$5,000,000 or such other higher amount as may be determined by Sothebys, and any financial references, guarantees and/or such other security as Sothebys may require in its absolute discretion as security for the bid. If all lots in the catalogue are “Premium Lots”, a Spe
3、cial Notice will be included to this effect and this symbol will not be used. The BIDnow online bidding service is not available for Premium Lots.Clients who wish to bid on any lots other than Premium Lots may be requested by Sothebys to sign a deposit letter in the form prescribed by Sothebys, to c
4、omplete the pre-registration application form and to deliver to Sothebys a deposit of HK$1,500,000 or such other higher amount as may be determined by Sothebys, and any financial references, guarantees and/or such other security as Sothebys may require in its absolute discretion as security for the
5、bid. Sothebys reserves the right to request at any time any additional deposit, guarantee and/or such other security as Sothebys may determine from any bidder whose total bidding (hammer price plus buyers premium) has reached or exceeded ten times the amount of that bidders deposit. The amount of th
6、e additional deposit, guarantee and/or other security shall be determined by Sothebys at its sole discretion and Sothebys reserves the right to reject any further bidding from that bidder until such additional deposit, guarantee and/or other security has been delivered to Sothebys. Sothebys has no o
7、bligation to accept any pre-registration application. Sothebys decision in this regard shall be final. Clients are requested to contact Sothebys at least 3 working days prior to the relevant sale in order to allow Sothebys to process the pre- registration, and to bear in mind that Sothebys is unable
8、 to obtain financial references over weekends or public holidays. Any required deposits shall be paid in Hong Kong dollars by way of wire transfer or debit/credit card (clients must present their cards in person to Sothebys).If a client is not successful on any lot, Sothebys will arrange for a refun
9、d (subject to any right of set off) of the deposit amount paid by such cli- ent without interest within 14 working days of the date of the sale. Any exchange losses or fees associated with the refund shall be borne by the client.Clients may not be allowed to register and bid on a lot if Sothebys fai
