The purpose of this document is to tell you how to identify this emerging issue and to request parts and customer internal pages bac
2、k from you so engineering can understand and countermeasure this issue as soon as possible.What the customer will seeThe customer may report a ghost image at a pitch of 76mm (fuser sleeve), typically near the outer edges of the printed page. The defect can be on one or both sides of the page. (See b

Inspection of the fuser sleeve is necessary to confirm this defect should see toner accumulation and damage to the left and/or right side of the fuser slee
6、ve.Page 2 of 4 HP ConfidentialConfiguration Page showing ghosted imageUpon inspection of the fuser sleeve, the fuser sleeve (pink roller) will show signs of distress, with short cracks (2 20mm in length, depending on severity) appearing toward the ends of the fuser sleeve, where the left and/or righ
7、t sides of the media line up on the sleeve. (See below.) In many cases, toner will begin to accumulate in or around these cracks in the fuser sleeve, resulting in a repetitive PQ defect down the left and/or right side of the page.
