(表语 ) The rain made the ground wet. (宾补 ) Curious, we went close to have a look at it. (状语 ) A1l the pupils looked at

(状语 ) (2) 副词主要作状语，可以修饰动词、形容词、副词、介词短语、从句、名词、代词、数词等，也可以修饰整个句子。 They are warmly welcomed by the students. 他们受到学生们的热烈欢迎。 (修饰动词 ) You are quite right. 你非常正确。 (修饰形容词 ) Neither Tom nor Susan can swim very well. 汤姆和苏珊都不会游泳。 (修饰副词 ) The arrow hit the apple right in the middl

7、2008 is 6 times what it was in 2003. (2) 平级比较 同级比较常用 as.as,否定为 not as/as；有时也用 the same as,such.as引导 Peter is as good a worker as Bob (is). =Peter is such a good worker as Bob (is). Henry does not have so/as many books as I have. His name is the same as his fathers. (3) 其他比较级结构 (1) the+比较级 .， the+比较级
8、 .，表示 “ 越 ，就越 ” The more tickets you sell, the more money you will get. 你卖的票越多 ， 你得到的就越多。 (2) 比较级 +and+比较级，表示 “ 越来越 .” 。 The new city is becoming more and more beautiful. (3) the+比较级 +of the two+名词 The taller of the two boys is my brother. (4) 比较的对象应该相同，且不能相互包含。如： The weather here is warmer than tha

10、(1) 能修饰比较级的副词常见的有： rather， much， still， even， far， any， a lot， a little， a bit， a great deal， quite a， byfar等。如： She is a little taller than I. 她比我高一点。 A car runs a great deal faster than a bike. 小汽车跑得比自行车快得多。 (2) 可以修饰最高级的词有： by far， much， nearly， easily， almost， not really， not quite(完全 )， not near
11、ly， by no means， ever等。如： This hat is the biggest yet(ever) He is by far the cleverest boy in the class 5. 关于最高级 (1) 最高级常见的修饰语有：序数词， by far， nearly， almost， by no means， not really， not quite， nothing ， like。如： The bridge being built now is by far the longest across the Yellow River. 目前正在建的那座桥是横跨黄河之
