(表语从句)他看起来像是从乡下来的。(2) as if/as though 引出的从句所表示的情况不是事实,而是主观的想象或夸大性的比喻,从句中多用虚拟语气(非正式用法中也有用陈述语气的情况)。表示和说话当时的情况相反,从句动词用过去时(be动词常用were);如果从句的动作发生在主句谓语动词之前,则用过去完成时。Dont treat me as if I were a stranger.
