1、摘 要外语教学需求分析是开展外语教学的首要条件,是外语课程设计的基础,是教师组织教学、使用教材、决定教学方法和评估的依据。本文首先就国内外的外语教学需求分析理论进行综述,对需求分析理论的历史和发展趋势作了一定的阐述。然后在需求分析理论的指导下,采用访谈和问卷调查这两种研究方法,对目标群体学生和相关企业,进行了英语口语需求的调查和分析,最后得出结论,并总结在此基础上对我们大学英语口语教学一些有益的思考。关键词:需求分析;英语口语教学;非英语专业ABSTRACTNeeds analysis in foreign language teaching is prerequisite to carry

2、out foreign language teaching. It offers the basis of foreign language course design. In addition, it supplies grounds for teachers organizing teaching, using textbooks and deciding on teaching methods and assessing teaching. This paper first overviews the theory of needs analysis at home and abroad

3、. Then it states the history and the development trend of needs analysis. Under the guidance of needs analysis, the author uses the interview and questionnaire to investigate the subjects needs for oral English. Students and some companies are regarded as the subject. The conclusion is drawn from th

7、ll, and can communicate very smoothly, which requires us to promote the foreign language teaching and have new breakthroughs in our foreign language teaching in order to follow the social development. Requirements are divided into three different levels in college English curriculum requirements. In

8、 the basic requirement of oral English, students are required to communicate in English in the course of learning, to conduct discussions on a given theme, and to talk about everyday topics with people from English-speaking countries. After some preparations, they should be able to give short talks

9、on familiar topics with clear articulation and basically correct pronunciation and intonation. They are expected to be able to use basic conversational strategies in dialogue. In intermediate requirements, students should be able to hold conversations in fairly fluent English with people from Englis

10、h-speaking countries, and to employ fairly well conversational strategies. They should, by and large, be able to express their personal opinions, feelings and views, and to state facts, events and reasons with clear articulation and basically correct pronunciation and intonation. In higher requireme

11、nts, students are expected to conduct dialogues or discussions with certain degree of fluency and accuracy on general or specialized topics, and to make concise summaries of extended texts or speeches in difficult language. They should be able to deliver papers at academic conferences and participat

12、e in discussions. 1Need analysis theory can analyze the existing oral English teaching from the needs and requirements by students and community. It can analyze students specific requirements about foreign language courses and teaching, and their weak performance in language. Needs analysis lets the

13、 students aware of their lack of language and teachers have a clear understanding of problems in teaching process so as to cause the attention of teachers and students to improve teaching methods and effects.The basic content of this research is the relevant survey based on needs analysis and come u

14、p with some suggestions and enlightenment according to the result of the survey. This research attempts to view the present oral English teaching from students, employers and foreigners, from which we can get some improvement of oral English teaching. There are three parts in this thesis. The second

15、 section will present an overview and relevant study of the needs analysis. The third section describes the research methodology which includes subjects, instruments, and data-analysis. The last section draws the conclusions of the major findings, suggestions and enlightenment.2.
