DTSapproachestranslationfromanempiricalperspective.Translationisviewedtobeasocialactivityhavingsignificantimportanceinthereceivingcultureandforthetargetmunity.Therefore,translationisdealtwithbeyondthelinguisticrealizationandlanguagepari
11、son,andisincorporatedinsocialandculturalcontext. MyattentionwasfirstdirectedtoDTSbyitspeculiarcharacteristicofobservation,descriptionandexplanation.Thesubjectiswhateverhappensintranslationpractice,fromthedeterminationofprospectivefunctionoftranslationtotheprocessoftranslatorschoiceofstrategies,brain
