1、Unit1 How can we become good learners? Section A 3a-3c一、教材分析本节课是新目标Go for it!九年级第一单元的一个阅读板块。本文通过讲述了因为对英语电影的喜爱,一名英语学习被动、困难的学生转变为一名主动学习英语,并且热爱英语的学生的故事。要求在训练、发展学生阅读水平的同时,能够结合上节课的内容帮助他们意识到提高学习兴趣和改进学习方法的重要性。二、学情分析授课对象是九年级学生,这些学生大部分对英语学习不是很感兴趣,个别学生的思维比较活跃,但是又不善于表达。针对这一情况,在阅读教学中,专门设计了几个讨论环节能够让他们更好地参与到课堂活动中

2、来。三、教学目标 1)知识目标: 学习掌握新单词和重点短语,理解领会重点句子的意思。 2)能力目标: 通过阅读和合作进一步讨论学习英语的技巧和方法,培养学生的阅读技巧和能力。 3)情感目标:通过文章的学习,培养学生形成个性化的学习特点和积极面对困难的能力,明白“一份耕耘,一份收获”。四、教学重难点 教学重点:学习掌握新单词和重点短语; 教学难点:理解领会重点句子的意思。 培养学生的阅读技巧和能力。五、教学过程Step I. Revision and lead-in1) Show some phrases to review by+doing.2) Read the title together

3、 and say something about Wei Fen. (设计意图):通过复习 by+doing 引入文章的标题,使学生们对所要学习的短文有个大概的预测。Step II. Reading 1. Fast-reading Ask the students to read the passage in silence and answer the questions, and give some advice about reading.a. Did Wei Fen like English last year?b. How about now? (设计意图):让学生们通过默读课文,能

4、够了解文章的大意,同时培养学生的默读习惯。2. Listening.Listen to the tape first , and ask them to do the following questions. (T/F) ( ) a. She was not afraid to ask questions. ( ) b. She could get the meaning by listening for just the key words. ( ) c. Her pronunciation did not improve. ( ) d. Listening to something you

5、 are interested in is the secret to language learning. ( ) e. She learned some useful sentences like “Its a piece of cake” (设计意图):通过听录音使学生们注意自己的语音语调,进一步对文章进行理解,习题的设计能够有助于他们更好的理解文章的意思,锻炼学生独立思考能力,.3 .Careful-reading 1) Read the passage in the group, then discuss and answer the questions of 3a together

6、. 2) Group work. Read it together as aloud as they can, and finish 3b. (设计意图):让学生们带着问题大声地朗读课文,同时以小组合作讨论形式,培养学生的合作探究意识。Step III. Translation . Ask the students to translate some sentences into Chinese. (设计意图):通过句子的理解与翻译,让学生们进步掌握by+doing的用法,同时能够帮助他们改进一些学习方法。Step IV. Summary Ask the students to summari

7、ze by themselves and show them on the screen to help them.Step V.
