1、江苏省吴江市高级中学高三英语语法训练 倒装II考点聚焦(I)部分倒装 1. There+be 句型 There are many new teachers in our school. 我们学校里有许多新老师。【注意】在“there+be”的句型中有两个或两个以上的主语时,一般情况下,紧跟在be动词后面的主语如果是单数,谓语动词就用单数;如果是复数,谓语动词就用复数形式。 There is a desk and two chairs in the classroom. 教师中有一张课桌和两张椅子。 2. “so+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语”或“neither/nor+be动词/助动词/情

2、态动词+主语”为了避免句子部分内容不必要的重复,常用上述倒装句式。“so+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语”句式表示“与前面所述的肯定情况相同”,“neither/nor+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语”句式表示“与前面所述的否定情况相同”。 His brother is a college student; so is mine. 他弟弟是大学生,我弟弟也是。 His brother is not a college student; nor is mine. 他弟弟不是大学生,我弟弟也不是。 I dont know his name, and nor am I interested. 我

3、不知道他的名字,我也不敢兴趣。 【注意】(1) “so + 主语+ be动词/助动词/情态动词”用来确定前面所述的情况,表示“确实如此”。-Tom works very hard. Tom很努力。-So he does, and so do you. 他的确很努力,你也很努力。 3. 具有否定意义的副词或短语置于句首时(除否定修饰主语外),句子一般要写成部分倒装句。这类副词或短语常见的有:not, never, seldom, hardly, rarely, scarcely, not only(but also), not until, by no means, under no circu

4、mstances, in no way, at no time, on no account, no sooner(than), hardly(when)等等。 Hardly had she sat down when she heard someone knocking at the door. 她刚坐下就听见有人敲门。 Not until twelve oclock did he go to bed last night. 他昨晚直到十二点钟才睡觉。 Never have my sisters been to Hong Kong before. 我的妹妹们以前从来没去过香港。 So far

5、 as I know, seldom does Mary come back to see her mother. 据我所知,Mary很少回来看她妈妈。 Under no circumstances are we allowed to enter this room. 任何情况下我们都不允许进入这个房间。 4. sothat和suchthat句型当so和such部分位于句首时,主句部分应用部分倒装。 So serious was the situation that everybody faced a test. =Such a serious situation was this thate

6、verybody faced a test. 形势如此地严峻,每个人都面临着一场考验。So hard did he overwork that he fell ill at last. 他太操劳过度以致最后病倒了。 5. “only+ 状语”置于句首时,主句用部分倒装。 Only in this way can you come up with a solution to the problem. 只有这样,你才能想出解决这个问题的办法。Only by working hard can you make progress in English. 只有通过努力你才能在英语上取得进步。 6. 以o

7、ften, always, once, many a time, now and then, every other day, every two hours等开头的句子,用部分倒装结构。 Often did I tell him not to make trouble. 我经常告诫他不要惹祸。 Many a time has he helped me with my experiments. 他帮助我做实验有很多次。 7. as/ though 引导的让步状语从句,可以把作表语、状语、谓语的形容词、副词、名词、动词原形提到句首,改为倒装。其结构为:“形容词/名词/副词/动词原形+as/tho

8、ugh+主语+助动词/be/情态动词+其他成分”。 Proud as the nobles are, they are afraid to see me. 尽管这些贵族很傲慢,他们却害怕见我。 Child as he is, he knows a lot about history. (名词前的冠词要省略)尽管是个孩子,他知道有关历史的许多东西。Try as they might, they couldnt get out of the trouble.他们尽管尽力了,但是没能摆脱困境。 8. 非真实条件句中有had, should, were时,省略if,这三个词要提前,构成倒装。 Had

9、he been free then, he would have helped us. 那时如果他有空的话,他会帮助我们的。 Should you attend the meeting, you would meet her. 你如果参加会议的话,你就会遇到她。 Were I you, I would go with them. 如果我是你,我就和他们一起去。(II)全部倒装 1. 当there, here, then, now, in, out, away, off等副词在句首,句子一般要全部倒装。其意义在于引起他人的注意,但如果这类句子的主语是代词,则不用写成倒装句。Now, here g

10、oes the story. 这个故事是这样的。There comes the taxi. 出租车来了。Out rushed the students. 学生冲出去了。Away he went. 他走了。2. 句子以借此短语开头,而且主语部分较长时,句子要用全部倒装。 Under the tree sat an old man who I havent seen. 树下坐着一位我从未见过的老人。 In the middle of our school stands a tall building. 在学校的中央矗立着一座大楼。3. 有时因为句子主语过长或有从句修饰,为了行文的需要,常常把表语提

11、前,形成完全倒装。 Gone are those days when people got together in the yard after work every evening, talking happily. 以前每天下班后人们聚在院子里开心的交谈,这样的日子一去不复返了。 Present at the meeting are 3 students, 2 teachers and a professor from Nanjing University. 出席会议的有三个学生、两个老师和一个来自南京大学的教授。III典例分析 1. Mary never does any reading
