1、工程施工过程中驻地工程师(RE)的工作范围及关注的问题,Duties of Resident Engineer,To take instructions from and represent the QP To ensure building works are constructed in accordance with Drawings and Specifications and the Building Control Act and Regulations To monitor and report on the progress of the works To manage the
2、 site supervisors on C&S works To monitor and ensure that works are completed to the required quality, accuracy and full compliance with all relevant Specification and drawings,Duties of Resident Engineer,To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings To verify all reports and claims
3、submitted by the contractors To liaise with all relevant authorities To ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner To carry out inspections at precast plants prior to the casting of 1st batch of precast faade/normal weight partition wall with beams. Precast columns are to be check
4、ed where change in column size or reinforcement occurs (RE to check with QP),Duties of RTO,To carry out inspections at precast plants as when needed to ensure quality of precast To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing so as to ensure that works
5、are constructed to the required quality and accuracy To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and teport delays immediately To provide standing supervision as and when directly by the PM/Arch./Engineer,Duties of RTO,To maintain proper and updated records
6、of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of work, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labour, day-works, provisional quantities, etc. To check that contractor executes preliminaries items and proper housekeeping on site To check service routes and contractor
7、s setting out and report any deviations to the PM/Arch./Engineer To monitor and ensure that works are completed to the required quality, accuracy and full compliance with all relevant Specification and drawings,Duties of RTO,To coordinate with services providers for the laying of services To conduct
