教学从谈论人物过去的外貌、性格,进一步延伸到谈论人物过去的心理感受以及过去的爱好等,最后延伸到谈论现在的变化,将过去和现在进行对比 3 学情分析学生在七年级就学习怎样描述一个人的外貌和性格,同时在七、八年级学习了一般过去时态的用法等这些均为本单元的学习奠定了语言知识本单元教学内容由浅入深,逐步引导学生用英语表述人的外貌、性格和心理特征,通过学习,让学生在交际活动中学会正确地用英语谈论事物的发展和变化,培养学生积极向上的健康心态学习目标Section A:主要介绍本单元基本的语言内容,注重学生的听说能力和短语的积累教材通过学习描述人物外貌和性格的形容词,利用图片设置的情景导入本单元语言功能项目和语法项目,然后通过听力和口语训练来落实这些语言功能项目Section B:(1)通过说和读的练习,让不同的学生说出他们过去和现在的变化2)通过听力练习,让学生听出人物过去和现在的变化3)通过小组合作,进行阅读和说话训练 4 ) 通过小组合作,运用所提供给的目标语言进行写作练习要求学生用 used to 结构列出自己过去和现在的变化课时划分:第一课时:Section A1 1a – 2d第二课时:Section A2 3a-3 c第三课时:Section A Grammar Focus-4c第四课时:Section B1 1a-1e,Self Check 2第五课时:Section B2 2a-3b,Self check1第一课时:Section A 1 (1a – 2d)学习目标:1.通过观察图片和听力练习,复习巩固描述人物外表和性格的单词。

Today we’re going to study Unit 4. Its title is I used to be afraid of the dark. In the title we find a phrase “used to ”. What does it mean? How is it used in English?used to 的用法 “used to 加不定式”表示过去常常干某事,现在不在干了 例如:I used to go to work by bus. Now I take a taxi. She used to be very shy. “be used to doing”表示习惯于干某事。

【例如】 I am used to getting up early and going to bed early.
