1、 AFRICAN MINERALS CONSTRUCTION Occupational Health shall be the appointed AML representative who is in overall management and control of the Project. 1.2.3. Construction Manager (CM): shall mean the AML Representative, appointed as the Resident Construction Manager by the AML Project Manager, to be

2、responsible for the management of all aspects on the AML construction site. 1.2.4. Safety, Health and Environmental Superintendent (OH R/A (JHA job hazard analysis): A task specific document assessing/analyzing the risks/hazards involved in the work steps of a task and the controls required to elimi

3、nate or minimize the exposure levels to the identified risks/hazards. 1.2.20. Daily Safe Task Instruction (DSTI): a pre start task document for the use by supervisors with memory joggers to instruct the workforce on potential hazards involved in the days task as well as safety documentation required

4、 to cover the task at hand i.e. work permits, R/As etc 1.3. OBJECTIVE: As per the African Mineral Limited, Construction OH Port Pepel upgrade, upgrade and construction of railway line and mine site construction. 3.4. CONTRACTORS OH repetitive Vehicle and mobile equipment - trucks, service vehicle, f

5、orklifts, and cranes Tools and machinery - maintenance equipment and tools High pressure gases - compressed air, acetylene, argon, oxygen Workplace hazards - falling (high places, excavations), rolling, sliding, slipping Noise and vibration - mobile equipment, equipment and process Electricity - med

6、ium and high voltage supply Fire and explosion - fuels and compression Stress related - shift work, heat, working environment Environmental related - space, heat, waste, ventilation, illumination, amenities Presence of snakes and spiders Health Malaria, TB, Lassa Fever, Cholera, Yellow Fever, Hepati

7、tis, HIV/ Aids, Bilharzia. Should the AML - CM or his duly nominated alternative identify hazardous activities being performed by the Contractor on site, for which the Contractor has not submitted a risk assessment, the work shall be stopped and the Contractor will be required to do so before contin

8、uing the work. The Contractor is therefore required to ensure that the activities are continuously assessed for risks and managed accordingly. When a risk is rated as high or medium, a safe work procedure (SWP) has to be developed which will detail the steps to be followed to ensure that the activit

9、ies / work will be completed safely risks must be reduced to “As Low as Reasonably Practical” (ALARP) prior to undertaking the activity. Determine the most likely or typical Consequence resulting from exposure to the hazard. This may involve either injury to pe

11、rsons or damage to property or the environment. The next step is to determine the Likelihood phrase which best describes the chance of the event occurring. The Risk Assessment Rating is the point on the matrix where Likelihood and Consequence meet. Risk assessments shall be compiled by the relevant
