But it can not stop my step to love it. So, when I had a class about the public speaking, I made
2、 up my mind to study it well and then to be a person as well as Clinton who is good at public speaking.Yes, maybe all of us know that a lot of conditions will be required to be a great speaker. As people said, public speaking has five basic elements, often expressed as “who is saying what to whom us
3、ing what medium with what effects?” If we want to do a good public speaking, I think the most important ting is to have extensive knowledge. All of the other elements are based on it. Because only in that case can we think each topic deeply and have our own ideas to be shared with the audience. Then
4、 we should mind the other things, such as well prepared, avoiding stage fright, using of gestures, controlling of the voice and developing relationship with audience etc.Compared with the requirement, I still have some difficulties to resolve. I need to expand my horizons to learn the changing socie
5、ty. I need to improve my English level to write and speak English smoothly. I need to be good at developing the relationship with audience.There is an old saying that one cannot make bricks without straw. So does the public speaking. When there is noting in peoples mind, there will not be a good spe
6、aking. Once a topic is given, I just do as what I was told to do-thinking about the topic and analysis it. But I only find a blank in my mind. Noting else but question mark stay at there no matter how hard I try to make a brain storm. Yes, thought is the source of speech. But the thought depend on o
7、nes knowledge. I am not a knowledgeable person. Each time I got a topic to make a public speaking, I can only think of some of the shallow things. Maybe I am a lazy person or maybe I lost my confidence, searching on the internet is my first choice to get some information about the topic I know littl

If I have read a lot of books on all kind of subjects; If I have learned a mount of society problem on the TV show; If I have collected a great deal of news all over the world; If I have had the ability to analysis one problem deeply, I will be a good writer for the speech. So, I think I will rea
9、d not only professional books, but also a lot of extra-curricular books in the spare time. Watching more news seems to be more and more necessary. Also, network is a bridge between us and the outer world. We can use so many ways to strengthen our experience and enrich our mind which is needed to be

I will work on it, expand my horizons and succeed at last.Grown up in an inland province, I had not been educated to speak and listen to English just because they were not included in the scope of college entrance examination. Yes, I can say proudly that I had a high English g
11、rade in that examination. But I have no courage to say that I am good at English. I still remember that how embarrassed I was when I had my first viewing, listening and speaking lesson in the college. I was invited to make a self-introduction because my student number is the first in our class. I ev
12、en could not understand what our teacher told me. I just stood still there, worn a stiff smile with an expecting order in my mind “please go back to your seat”. In fact, it could be regarded as a small public speaking, a failed public speaking. I admit that I was nervous at that time, but it did not
13、 mean that I was afraid of the audience, just caused by my poor English. Without good English, I will feel guilty from the bottom of my heart. Let alone to play a good public speaking in the front of crowed people. So, I have to study hard as an English major student. More speaking, more listening,
14、more reading will have good effect on my English. To learn a subject well should not rely on somebody else but oneself. Do not fear to use English and realize that English is a tool for us to use. As long as I have a right understanding of English which is learned as we use it, I can grasp it well.
15、And then the vocabulary and word choice will no longer a problem to me. Confidence will come up with my progress. I think it is the time I can make a public speaking with calmness.Another thing that we should keep in heart is that the purpose of public speaking range from simply transmitting informa
16、tion, to motivating people to act, to simply telling a story. Good orators should be able to change the emotions of their listeners, not just inform them. I have tried many ways to cheer up my audiences when I give a public speaking. But they do not work well. That is to say I can not develop a good relationship with the audience. In fact, audience sit there just want to hear something they are interested in. And my speaking is for my audience. So, the content of my speech should meet the
