So, for example, if they were searching for Mr. Jones, the guy would have a little bell that he rang and everyone would loo

2、k at his sign that said Mr. Jones and see if the sign was for them. Or guests had those bells on the desk and they rang them and the bellman came, and the bellman carried their luggage, so thats still an important job. BellmanA bellman, also bellboy or bellhop, is a hotel porter, who helps patrons w

3、ith their luggage while checking in or out. Bellhops often wear a uniform, like certain other page boys or doormen. The jobs name is derived from the fact that the hotels front desk clerk rang a bell to summon an employee, who would “hop“ (jump) to attention at the desk to receive instructions. The
