TOON LIZZIE: Mr. Dig is a great substitute, but he scares me sometimes. MR DIG: Acting is about honesty. Its about movement- acting and re

2、acting. Lizzie! LIZZIE: ( screams ) TOON LIZZIE: Okay, he scares me all the time. MR DIG: Now, thats real emotion. How do you feel, Miss McGuire? LIZZIE: Uh. scared. MR DIG: Good. Eh. ( barking grunts ) ( kids murmuring ) Is this for real? Is he okay? ETHAN: Does this mean class is over? LIZZIE: Mr.

3、 Dig! Are you okay? Can you hear me? Mr. Dig! I dont think hes breathing! MR DIG: And thats. the kind of emotion I want to see in your scenes today. LIZZIE: Mr. Dig, that was so not funny. MR DIG: Youre right. That wasnt comedy. But you know what is? Malcolm in the Middle. As a matter of fact I taug

4、ht Frank Muniz everything he knows. LIZZIE: Sure you did, Mr. Dig. MR DIG: Oh, you kids are so cynical today. Its a tragedy. Its like one of Shakespeares greatest plays: Romeo and Juliet which you have just volunteered yourself to read. LIZZIE: Great. MR DIG: And wholl be my Romeo today? How about M

5、r. “Is Class Over Cause the Teachers Dead“? ETHAN: ( fly buzzing ) MR DIG: Ethan, that means you. ETHAN: You know, for a dead guy, youre kind of mean. MR DIG: Now, go to your proverbial corners and come out acting! TOON LIZZIE: Does life get better than a love scene with Ethan Craft? LIZZIE: “Romeo,

6、 Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?“ ( Renaissance music playing ) LIZZIE: “Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?“ Romeo? FRANKIE: “But soft what light through yonder window breaks?“ It is the East, and you are the sun.“ ( birds chirping ) TOON LIZZIE: ( applause ) This is officially my all-time f

7、avorite play. ETHAN: Hey, Frankie. howd you get out of the TV? ( wind howling ) - THEME SONG -* If you believe * * Weve got a picture-perfect plan * * Weve got you fooled * * Cause we only do the best we can * * And sometimes we make it * * And sometimes we fake it * * But we get one step closer eac

8、h and every day * * Well figure it out on the way. MIRANDA: You guys, theres this totally crazy rumor going on that Frankie Muniz is here and having lunch with Lizzie. TOON LIZZIE: She makes it sound like it could never happen. KID: Aw, gee, thanks, Frankie. Cool. FRANKIE: Hey, I heard that, too. LI

9、ZZIE: He was in drama class. He came to visit Mr. Dig. GORDO: They read Romeo and Juliet. It was kind of movie-of-the-week-ish. Uh, but still, very cool. MIRANDA: So, uh. how was your, uh, summer? FRANKIE: Well, I finished shooting my series read a few movie scripts and bought a car. ( rock music pl

10、ays ) FRANKIE: What about you guys? LIZZIE: Um, well, I-I, um. MIRANDA: Well, I started to, uh. GORDO: I broke my toe. ( drumroll ) LIZZIE: Gordo. GORDO: What? I did. It was my big toe. I had to go to the hospital. It was very traumatic. LIZZIE: ( nervous laugh ) GORDO: What? At least something more

11、 than “Uh-um“ happened to me. LIZZIE: So, um, what are you doing here? MIRANDA: Yeah, it cant be because of Gordos exciting “big toe“ story. FRANKIE: Im in town to shoot a TV movie, and I thought Id swing by and see my old friend, Mr. Dig. Hey, Ive got to run back to my hotel to do an interview (to

12、LIZZIE) but, uh. maybe you and I can go out sometime. TOON LIZZIE: This is the part where the alarm clock always goes off. ( loud ringing ) MIRANDA: Uh, Lizzie. Frankie just asked you out. GORDO: Even I didnt see that one coming. That beats my “big toe“ story by a mile. FRANKIE: So, uh, Lizzie, how

13、about it? Want to go out with me? I mean, I know I play a kind of dorky guy on TV but Im not really like that. Well. I am sitting here, asking someone out I just met and youre just staring at me. So maybe Im a bigger dork than I play on TV? Im just going to go crawl under a rock now. Really, Im fine

14、. MIRANDA: N-N-No, just. just give her a sec. I-I dont think she uh, heard the question. GORDO: Lizzie, uh, are you okay? LIZZIE: Uh. I-I-Im fine. Um. I dont know. ( girls clamoring ) Pick me! Me, please, me! ( all begging at once ) GORDO: It must be good to be a TV star. ( girls clamoring ) Ugh. (
