1、 1第 0 页 共 16 页摘要摘要电影是现代社会中人们获取信息和娱乐的方式之一。近年来，字幕翻译在我国作为一 门新兴领域逐渐兴起。观看电影的过程实际上也是文化交流的一种方式, 电影字幕的翻译 对于异国观众对源语文化的理解至关重要。 但是由于电影字幕翻译受时间和空间等多方面 的局限性, 以及不同文化所特有的表达和文化空缺现象使得电影字幕翻译更加复杂。归化 和异化是处理源语文化和目的文化两者关系的两种策略。 这两种方法的选择和使用既是译 者翻译的难点，也是翻译界争论的焦点。本文试图借用翻译目的论的理念来解读和探讨电 影泰囧的英文字幕翻译是如何处理这两种翻译策略的。通过分析了电影泰囧的具 体翻译目

As we all know, as a new object in translation field, recent years have seen a growing demand for subtitle translation in China. Watching foreign films also is a fabulous way of exchanging and communicati

Thus, subtitle translation is significant for foreign viewers to have a better understanding of the culture reflected in the movieHowever，because of the constraints such as time and space constraints，and the cultural-specific expressions and cultural vacancy, subtitle tran
5、slation becomes quite difficult and complicated. To deal with the relationship of source language and target language in subtitle translation, translator has to choose between the two basic translation strategies，namely, domestication and foreignization, This is a rosy topic and also a hard time for

This Paper tries to solve the problem with the facilitation of skopostheorie and explore how to deal with their relationship in film subtitle translation with a case study of Lost in ThailandThis thesis is all attempt to apply the functionalist theory to subtitling. By analyzing the sp
7、ecific skopos in the film Lost in Thailand，the author comes to the conclusion that domestication and foreignizafion should be combined to fulfill the very skopos of the filmAnd the later study on what specific translation methods are employed in the film under domestication and foreignization better
