4、 同意学校保留并向有关部门送交论文的复印件和电子版本，允许论文被查阅和借阅。本人授权曲阜师范大学，可以采用影印或其他复制手段保存论文，可以公开发表论文的全部或部分内容。 作者签名： 日期： 导师签名： 日期： i 摘摘 要要 中国古典诗歌是中国传统文化的精髓，是民族文化的宝贵财富，也是语言学习的良好素材。唐朝诗人李白创造了许多脍炙人口的经典诗篇，在中国诗坛上享有盛誉。改革开放以来，学者们把目光投向了中国典籍，李白诗歌的英译本层出不穷。李诗中含有大量的概念隐喻，诗人借助人们熟知的具体意象来表达他抽象的情感。意象的隐喻含义影响着人们对整首诗歌的理解，因此隐喻的翻译有着举足轻重的作用。虽然一些学者对
5、隐喻翻译进行了研究，但他们关注的往往是语义及修辞效果的对等，将忠实与通顺视为隐喻翻译的最高目标。西方学者虽提出了一些隐喻翻译理论，但是这些理论都是建立在西方语言特征的基础之上，并不完全适用于隐喻的汉英翻译。 本研究以刘法公(2008)的隐喻汉英翻译原则为理论指导，分析了李诗中的概念隐喻在不同英译本中的翻译情况。本研究所用语料来自李白诗歌及许渊冲、孙大雨、张廷琛以及魏博思的英语译文，确保了译文的权威性及代表性。本研究采用定性分析的方法，分三步进行了研究，即李诗中概念隐喻的分析、概念隐喻可译性及限度研究以及评析李诗中概念隐喻的英译情况。 通过上述三步研究，本研究得到以下结论：第一，李白诗歌中的概念
6、隐喻可主要分为生命隐喻、时间隐喻、情感隐喻和酒隐喻等四大类。第二，人类语言的普遍性及经验的相似性构成了隐喻可译性的基础，因此李白诗歌中的概念隐喻在一定程度上是可译的。但是文化及生活环境的巨大差异又造成了隐喻可译性的限度问题。第三，通过分析李白诗歌中概念隐喻的英译情况，证明了刘法公隐喻汉英翻译原则可用来较好地指导中国古典诗歌中概念隐喻的英译。这些原则既可以作为翻译策略指导隐喻汉英翻译实践，也可以用来衡量隐喻汉英翻译的恰当性。 本研究验证了隐喻汉英翻译原则的适用性，丰富了隐喻汉英翻译理论；同时，也扩展了李白诗歌英译研究的领域。隐喻是诗歌的眼睛，隐喻的翻译影响着诗歌信息的传达，恰当的隐喻传译不仅可以
7、促进跨文化交际，同时也有利于提升中国特色文化的对外传播。 关键词关键词：李白诗歌；概念隐喻；隐喻翻译；隐喻汉英翻译原则ii Abstract Classical Chinese poetry is the essence and invaluable wealth of traditional Chinese culture as well as a good material for language learning. Li Bai, a poet in Tang Dynasty, composed a lot of excellent poems and enjoyed a high r
8、eputation in the history of Chinese poetry. Since Chinas reform and opening up to the outside world, scholars have turned their eyes to Chinese classics. Li Bais poems have been translated into different English versions. His poems are abundant with conceptual metaphors. The poet uses concrete and w
9、ell-known images to express his abstract emotions. Since the metaphorical connotations of the images affect readers understanding of the poem, the translation of metaphors is of great importance. Even though some scholars have carried out research of metaphor translation, they focus more on semantic
10、 equivalence and the reproduction of rhetorical effect. In addition, fidelity and fluency have been regarded as the criteria for the translation of metaphors. The theories of metaphor translation proposed by western scholars are based on the features of western languages, so they do not apply themse
11、lves to C-E metaphor translation completely. This study analyzes the English versions of the conceptual metaphors in Li Bais poems under the guidance of C-E Metaphor Translation Principles, which are put forward by Liu Fagong (2008). The data analyzed in this study come from the poems by Li Bai and
12、the English versions are translated by Xu Yuanchong, Sun Dayu, Zhang Tingchen and Wei Bosi (Chinese name of Bruce M. Wilson). Those are all authoritative and representative English versions. This study, which employs the qualitative method, can be divided into the following three stages: the analysi
13、s of the conceptual metaphors in Li Bais poems, the study of the translatability of metaphors and the limits of metaphor translatability, and the evaluation of the English versions of the conceptual metaphors in Li Bais poems. The major findings of this study are as follows: Firstly, a series of con
14、ceptual metaphors in Li Bais poems are classified into LIFE metaphors, TIME metaphors, EMOTION metaphors and WINE metaphors. Secondly, the conceptual metaphors in Li Bais poems are translatable to some extent. The universality of human languages and the similarity of physical experience between diff
15、erent cultures serve as the foundation for the translatability of metaphors. However, due to the differences in culture and living environment, the translatability of metaphors has certain limits. Thirdly, the analysis of the English translation of the conceptual metaphors in Li Bais poems proves th
16、at the Principles for C-E Metaphor Translation can be used to guide the translation of conceptual metaphors in classical Chinese poetry and evaluate the quality of the iii translation. This study enriches the theories of metaphor translation by proving the applicability of Liu Fagongs Principles for C-E Metaphor Translation. Meanwhile, it expands the res
