He/Shes cm tall.”描述自己和他人的身高。 3.能用句型“Youre taller than

Im older than you.”进行年龄和身高的比较。4.能听懂教师的指令，按不同的年龄、身高排队，并用所学语言进行表述。 教学重难点 1、能够听、说、认读 A Lets learn 部分五个形容词的比较级形式，并能用含 有比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。 2、能够听、说、读、写四会单词，并能根据一定情境使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换关 键词进行问答。 3、长度单词 cm 的完整形式 centimeter 的发音。 教具 准备 1、录音机，三年级下册六单元 Lets do 部分的录音磁带和本课录音带。 2、本课时的单词卡片。 3、测量身高和体重的工具。 对本
3、主备稿的评价 教 学 过 程 二次备课 1. Preparation (1) Chant：教师播放三年级下册六单元 A 部分 Lets do 的录音“Tall, tall, tall, make yourself tall”师生一起吟唱并做出相应的动作。 (2) Free talk： T：Good morning/afternoon! Boys and girls. Ss: Good morning! Miss/ Mr T: How are you? Ss: Im fine. Thank you! And you? T: Im fine, too. Who is your teacher? S
4、s: Mr/ Miss T: Whats he/she like? Ss: He/ She is and 引导学生描述自己的老师，复习学过的形容词。并适时板书这些形容词:tall, short, strong, thin, young, old. 设计意图：热身复习，通过一个形式活泼的 chant 复习与本课内容相关的形容词，创设英 语氛围，激发学习兴趣，温故知新，为新课学习做铺垫。 2. Presentation(1)出示一张刘翔的图片，问：Who is he? Whats he like? 引导学生回答：He is Liu Xiang. He is tall. T: Yes, Liu Xi
5、ang is tall. （出示姚明的图片。 ）Look at Yao Ming. Whats he like? Ss: He is tall, too. T: Yes, he is tall. He is taller than Liu Xiang.(在 tall 后面用红笔加上 er. 领读、拼读单词并说 句子。) Make a chant: taller , taller, taller, Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang. T：Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang. Liu Xiang is shorter than Ya
6、o Ming. (在 short 后面用红笔 加上 er. 领读、拼读单词并说句子。) Make a chant: shorter, shorter, shorter, Liu Xiang is shorter than Yao Ming. 教师出示测量身高的米尺并说:“I am 158 cm tall. How tall are you?”引导学生测量自己的身 高并用句子回答：“I am cm tall.” 板书：cm=centimeter 领读、拼读单词并告诉学生它的复数形式: centimeters. 如：I am 158 cm tall. 读作：I am one hundred and
7、 fifty-eight centimeters tall. Ask and answer one by one. A: How tall are you? B: I am cm tall. And you? A: I am cm. I am taller/ shorter than you. (2)在一组学生问答练习结束时，教师接着说：“You are taller than me. But I am stronger than you.”在原来的板书 strong 后面用红色笔加上 er.领读并拼读单词。 Make a chant: stronger, stronger, stronger

You are thinner than me. 在原来的板书 thin 后面用红色笔加上 ner.领读并拼读单词。告 诉学生像 thin 这样的单词，在变为比较级时，要双写最后一个字母再加 er. Make a chant: thinner, thinner, thinner, you are thinner than me. T: 教师出示测量
9、体重的健康称，测量自己的体重说并：I am 52 kg heavy. How heavy are you?”引导学生用“I am kg heavy.”回答问题。 板书：kg=kilogram 领读，拼读单词并练习说句子。让学生理解在实际句子中应该使用复 数形式。如：I am 52 kg heavy.应读作：“I am fifty-two kilograms heavy.” Ask and answer one by one. A: How heavy are you? B: I am kg heavy. And you? A: I am cm. I am stronger/ thinner t
10、han you. (3)教师指一学生问：How old are you? S1: I am 12/ years old. T: I am 35 years old. I am older than you. You are younger than me. 在黑板上原来的板书 old, young 后面加上 er. 领读，拼读单词并练习说句子。 Make a chant: older, older, older. I am older than you. Younger, younger, younger, you are younger than your brother. Ask and

I am older/younger than you.设计意图：利用大家都非常熟悉的名人刘翔和姚明引入新单词 taller 和 shorter 的学习，形 象直观，便于学生接受。而在学习 stronger 和 thinner 的时候，则直接用教师和学生的实际 体重做为教学资源，让学生在实际生活中学习新知识。同时教育学生注意正确的饮食和锻 炼，树立正确的健康观。Chant 是小学生学习英语时最喜欢的练习方式，在学习新知时，
12、用 chant 加深学生的印象，便他们牢固掌握新学单词。 (4) Listen to the tape.Listen to the tape and repeat. (5) Read after teacher/ little teachers/ in groups. 设计意图：只有听得准才能模仿得准，说得好。所以听录音模仿语音、语调是学习英语中 非常重要的一步。合作学习，小组互助既有利于学生合作精神的养成，也有助于每个学生 都更好得掌握读音。 3.Practice x k b1.c om (1) Read the new words in groups. Younger, younger, younger, you are younger than your brother. 设计意图：从读熟到拼写，只是一个机械操练的简单模仿过程，如何让学生在模仿的基础 上达到
15、熟练运用？本环节利用教材中 pair work 资源，让学生在听听做做中熟练掌握所学知 识。这一环节的设计，不仅是一个听力活动，实际上是一个听说结合的综合活动，因为学 生在听到教师的指令后，必须有一个交流的过程，而在这个过程中，教师要求他们必须用 英语进行交流获得信息，这就更进一步地练习了所学知识。用一个形式活泼的 chant，巩固 所学新知，为下面的拓展作好了铺垫。 4. Production (1) Make a new chant like this by yourself. (2)在小组内调查同伴的身高、体重、年龄，并以获得的数据做一个对话。如： A: How tall are you

B: Yes, I am one year older than you. 设计意图：学习英语的最终目的是为了达到学以致用，把语言知识转化为语言技能。在本 环节的拓展应用中，我设计了利
