3、tors and the whole play staff.The series revolves around a group of friends in the borough of Manhattan, New York City. It describes fully of their life, friendship, trouble, laugh, contradiction, love and work. They treasure friendship and kinship. They trust, tolerant and support each other. Their
4、 positive and optimistic life attitude encourages millions of people. The reason that this sitcom appeals to us is not only the sincere feelings among them, but also the fresh sight which is different from China. Western civilization has always led the world cultural development since the Industrial

More and more scholars, critics believe that the TV television drama filled with contemporary social values and reflect the social reality and reform. Thus the research papers and information about this have em
9、erged in recent years and has produced certain effect in the academia. But these research are papers and news reports mostly. Such strict system of academic monographs are relatively less. According to the China Journal Full-text database statistics, in history and philosophy, education and Social S
10、ciences option, the number of translation research articles increased from 7 per year in 1995 to 57 per year in 2009. In recent years, along with the overseas film and television drama in Chinas popularity increased, translation studies on film and television drama relatively increased. However the
11、people themselves writing and publishing monograph form research is few, mostly translations, photocopy and academic journals. In many scholars, Professor Miao Di, Communication University of China, is one of the few who will put his foothold on the TV series. His book “the TV art“ compares and stud
