1、中国生物物种名录的采集、校验和整合动物数据乔慧捷1， 纪力强11中国科学院动物研究所，北京市朝阳区大屯路，100101，中国，Email: Q摘要摘要“物种 2000”计划旨在构建经验证过的全球物种名录。这个名录中包括物种的学名、异名、俗名、分布地及其相关的参考文献信息 (Bisby, F., et al., 2005)。它是一个由用户、分类专家和发起机构共同组成的联盟式的数据库组织 (Species 2000, 2008)。作为“物种 2000”计划的地区结点之一， “物种 2000 中国结点”于 2006 年10 月 20 日正式启动。中国科学院生物多样性委员会（BC-CAS）支持和管理“
2、物种 2000 中国结点”的建设。主要的参加单位为中国科学院植物研究所（IBCAS） ，中国科学院动物研究所（IOZ）和中国科学院微生物研究所（IM） 。其目的是向全世界用户免费提供经过校验的、在中国分布的所有生物物种的名录信息(物种 2000 中国结点, 2008)。中国科学院动物研究所生物多样性信息管理研究组负责中国生物物种名录 动物数据的整理工作。为完成这项工作，我们邀请了全球的几十名相关专家参与提供和校验数据的工作。同时成立了信息技术工作组，开发了很多相关的软件以提高工作的效率和准确性。首先，经过十多年的积累，很多相关数据已经被数字化并以数据库的形式存储在相关的服务器上，绝大部分已经以
3、网站的方式提供给使用者。但这些数据库的格式不尽相同，数据项也与“物种 2000 计划”的要求有较大的区别。因此，这些数据必须经过格式转换以适应“物种 2000 标准数据集” (Species 2000 Team, 2004) 的要求。这部分工作由一组自主开发的软件包来完成。其次，转换好的数据将以“中国动物志数据库”为主干，补充以其它数据库的信息，按照研究领域将数据库拆分成若干个包含不同类群的子库，并分发给相关领域的专家。专家可根据自己的实际情况选择利用软件包中的数据校验工具或者其它形式校验数据的正确与完整性。并通过 Email 的方式将校验过的数据返还给信息技术工作组。最后，在数据返还后，一个
4、数据整合的工具可以将这部分数据加入到全集数据库中。这个全集数据库设计规范不仅囊括了“物种 2000 标准数据集”中要求的全部信息，还包括很多中国结点个性化信息。既可以适应中国结点的特殊要求，也可以方便的为“物种 2000”计划提供数据。另外，由于中文的特殊性，信息技术工作组还对现有的物种名录光盘中的程序增加了新的功能，允许其在西文操作系统的环境下，不安装任何额外软件的基础上，查询并显示中文信息。经过分类专家和信息技术工作组的共同努力，第一版中国生物物种名录于2008 年 4 月 1 日正式对外发布。在这个版本中包括了 8803 个动物学名信息和14272 个异名信息。名录将每年做一次增补并发布

It is a “federation“ of database organizations working c
8、losely with users, taxonomists and sponsoring agencies.(Species 2000, 2008)The Species 2000 China Node was launched up as one of Species 2000s regional/national hubs at the 20th October, 2006. It is supported and supervised by The Biodiversity Committee, Chinese Academy of Sciences (BC-CAS). Species
9、 2000 China Node, which combines institute of Botany (IBCAS), institute of Zoology (IOZ) and institute of Microbiology (IM), aims to provide a validated checklist of all species (plants, animals and microorganisms) distributed in China to all users in the world( Species 2000 China Node, 2008).Group
10、of Biodiversity Information Management in IOZ presides over the Animalia data in China Node. In order to accomplish this job, many taxonomic specialists are invited to take part in this project and several tools or software are developed.First of all, a software package is designed to convert differ
11、ent structure data into the fixed database structure. This structure contains all fields which are requested in Species 2000 Standard Dataset.(Species 2000 Team, 2004)Second, each specialist will get a copy of checkout tool with specific data. The data in this tool is extracted from the database of
12、Fauna Sinica, and based on the research field of the certain specialist. The specialist can check the data of the taxonomical group one by one and sends the checked, well-formatted data back to us by email or other ways after all data are validated.Finally, an integration tool is in charge of collec
13、ting the distributed data and organizes them into one database. The Species 2000 standard dataset is a subset of the database.After all of these steps, a well-formatted, validated dataset about Animalia is built up by both taxonomic specialists and IT group.In 1st April 2008, the first version of Ch
14、ecklist - Catalogue of Life, China 2008 Annual Checklist was released. In this version, there are 8,803 accepted scientific names and 14,272 synonyms.
