1、动态对等理论下同声传译的自然语言【摘 要】本文从奈达的动态对等理论来探讨同声传译的方法。文章首先介绍同声传译与交替传译的特点,然后分析了奈达对自然语言和动态理论的阐释,最后探讨了如何在口译中实现自然语言的表达。希望通过本文的研究,进一步增进对口译的了解。 【关键词】自然语言;同声传译;交替传译;动态对等理论;奈达 【Abstract】This paper approaches the simultaneous interpretation from the perspective of the dynamic equivalence translation theory of Nida. Fo
2、r this purpose we first introduce the features of the simultaneous interpretation through comparison with the consecutive interpretation. Then, we analyze the concept and role of natural language and dynamic equivalence advocated by Nida. In the last part, we discuss how to achieve the natural expre
3、ssion in interpretation. 4、eristics of Simultaneous Interpretation I.1.Concept of Interpretation Interpretation processes between languages, whether performed simultaneously or consecutively, is a highly complex discourse performance where language perception, comprehension, translation and production operations are carried o
5、ut virtually in parallel and under severe time pressure . I.2.The Role of Interpreter Interpreters need to be extremely fast with their languages, capable of making snap decisions even when not at all certain about what a speaker is saying. They must be poised and composed, even when working with an
6、gry officials or attorneys, business tycoons, or heads of state, have excellent spoken languages skills, including the ability to listen very accurately under less than ideal ambient noise conditions, and good oral presentation and public speaking skills in all of their languages. 7、ween Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpretation In Consecutive Interpretation, the interpreter serves as an intermediary between two speakers. Each speaker pauses after every two or three sentences to allow time for the interpreter to render the speakers remarks into the other language. Also, conse
8、cutive interpreters are usually expected to interpret into and out of their native language. In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter is rarely more than a few seconds to a minute behind the speaker, and though the quality and accuracy of the interpretation are not nearly as high as they are in consecutive interpretation, the speed and intensity are much higher.
