1、Tourism overview of ZhangyeZhangye, located in the middle of Hexi Corridor, it leans on Qilian Mountain in the south and extends to Badain Juran Desert in the north. The citys total area is 42,000 km2 including one district of Ganzhou and five counties of Linze, Gaotai, Shandan, Minle and Sunan Yugu
2、r Autonomous County, 65 townships, 1.28 million population and 38 ethnic groups, in which Yugur ethnic group is nationally and provincially unique minority. Zhangye is also called Ganzhou since the 6th year of Xihan dynasty. It was named after the literary quotation that “In 121 B.C., Emperor Wu of
3、Han Dynasty sent Huo Qubing, the well-known juvenile general, to fight against the Huns, an ancient nationality in China. After defeating the Huns, the emperor firstly set up Zhangye prefecture, therefore, there was the saying that the Huns arms were broken and Zhangyes armpits were opened, thus mak
