1、首先，最重要的就是在 Example 的时候让自己尽快进入英语阅读的状态，尤其是当先做了 Numerical 之后，大脑回路还在中文+算数的模式下，很容易看不进文章。所以在参加考试之前，不妨让自己尝试读过一些逻辑性比较强的中文之后再迅速转入阅读英文短文，两三百字的就好。其次，由于短文其实真的很短，对能过六级的人来说，看懂大意也绝对没有问题。那这个测验要怎么筛选人？这就是 V 题最狡猾的部分 ，也就是 T/F/C 的判断。但也不用被吓到，再狡猾的伎俩，摸清楚套路之后也不会被骗到的。之前我在 HK 买了一本国外出版社出的关于 Verbal Reasoning Test的书（一个系列的，也有 Num
2、erical，但太贵我没买），那书介绍了各种类型的 Verbal Test，其中和 KPMG 相似 的叫做“UKCAT”。（其实也可以搜索 UKCAT 去做网站上的例题）。鼠里面关于此类题型的最重要的 Tips 就是：TRUE means the statement is true or follows logically from the information given in the passage. FALSE means the statement is false - based only on the information given in the passage. CANNO
3、T TELL means you cannot say whether it is true or false because there is insufficient information given in the passage. 也就是说，关键就在于文章以及以文章为唯一基础作出的有逻辑的判断。然后书里还有介绍一些小技巧：1、Contrast words包括 however, although, but, alternatively, whereas, despite, rather, unless, instead, while, nevertheless, on the other
4、 hand, on the contrary, yet, at the same time, conversely 等。这些词都是用来强调前后文的不同2、Propositio ns包括claims, suggests, adcovates, recomends, advises, offers, proposes, believe 及 considers 等。这些说明了，它们后面跟的并非客观事实，而是某些人或团体的主张或想法。3、Com parisons包括最高级 most, highest, biggest, least 和比较级的 more, lower, less等。此时就要注意是否文中
5、为比较级、问题为最高级之类的情况。4、Absolutes a nd generalisations包括 never、 always 这些表示频度的词汇。或是表示绝对性的词汇 no, never, none, always, every, entire, unique, sole, all, maximum, minimum 和only ，不要把它们和many, almost always, some, nearly, usually, seldom, regularly, generally, frequently, typically, ordinarily, as a rule, comm
6、only 及sometimes 混为一谈。因为 usually 发生的事情，不能说它 always发生的。这牵涉到严谨度了。5、Cause and effect要搞清楚事情的因果关系，比如 A 事件能够导致B 事件的发生，就不能说 B 事件发生了的话，A 事件也必然发生。因此要注意since, because, for, so, consequently, as a result, thus, therefore, due to 及hence。6、Speculation包括 perhaps, probably, possibly, maybe,might, may, can 这些表推测的词。它们都只是表示了事件发生的可能性，而非确定发生。7、Addition包括 also, again, in addition, as well as, besides, coupled with, alternatively, moreover及 furthermore等。它们都是对前文的重要补充或是引导出后文重要讯息的标志。
