4、ng held back.He started kindergarten only weeks after turning 5,and he struggled to keep up socially and academically.“He seemed ready for kindergarten at the time,but it wasnt until 3rd grade that things really began to get better for him, ” she says.On the contrary,Anna Sandler has few worries abo

5、ut daughter Molly,who is also a 3rd grader and the youngest in her class.Molly also has a sister who just started kindergarten and she,too,is the youngest in her class.“I didnt hold either of my girls back.They both have good language skills and are actually quite tall for their ages.When Molly was

6、in 2nd grade,her handwriting was worse than others.Now,a year later,her handwriting shows no difference, ”Sandler says.The above childrens experiences agree neatly with data collected by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) “Our research shows that even if there is a
