1、Module 5 CartoonsUnit 1 Its time to watch a cartoon.教学设计一、教学目标1. 掌握词汇:cartoon, handsome, smart, fight, cool, hero, humorous, cant help doing sth., laugh 2. 能谈论卡通片和卡通人物。3. 能根据情感态度的表达确定句子重音。4. 能综合运用一般过去时、过去进行时和现在完成时。5. 能够从听力材料中识别所提及的卡通故事和人物。6. 能够就卡通故事或卡通人物进行交流,尊重他人的态度,倾听他人的不同意见。二、教学重点及难点重点:掌握词汇:brave,

2、 cartoon, cute, funny, handsome, smart, hero, laugh, lesson等难点:能综合运用一般过去时、过去进行时和现在完成时。三、教学准备1. 多媒体设备和课件;2. 教学光盘。四、教学过程Step Warming-up1. T presents related scenes of films and asks Ss the question:Have you seen these films?2. T asks Ss the other question: What kind of films do they belong to? 设计意图:通过

3、设问,帮助学生回想有关于电影的知识,代入本课主题。Step Pre-listeningActivity 1T interacts with Ss to know what kinds of cartoons they are interested in.设计意图:通过图片和语言手段相结合,吸引学生的兴趣和注意力。New expressionsSs fill in the blanks with appropriate words in accordance with what they have previewed. It is / was time to do sth. = It is / was time for sth. 意为“到做某事的时间了”。It + be + for sb. + to do sth. 意为“到了某人该做某事的时间了”。2

8、. Thats cool.这句话是英语常用交际用语,用于对某一想法,事情等表示赞赏,意为“那很酷”。cool 还可意为“时髦的,酷的”。3. I dont think we agree.I dont think 是一个否定前移的句式。当think、believe、expect等后接含有not的否定句时,该否定应转移至主句,否定主句的谓语动词,但在翻译为汉语时,仍然否定从句。4. I cant help laughing when I watch them!cant help doing sth. 意为“忍不住做某事,情不自禁做某事”。help 后跟动词的-ing 形式。设计意图:在语境中接触到

9、知识点后逐一进行讲解有利于加深学生的理解与记忆。Activity 41. Ss read the words in the box first to check their understanding of the words.2. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box.3.
