AbstractEconomy, policy and culture are the main three activities of the society. Among these, culture tends to be more and more impor
4、tant and becomes indispensable. With the quick and continuous development of our sports, sports culture has interested us much. On the other side, the sports culture, especially western sports culture has been an irreplaceable part of their culture long before. The Olympic Games, which is a platform
5、 for the global sports competition as well as sports culture communication, builds up a solid foundation to the global sports cultures prosperity. How can we lead the global sports culture to develop together? The point is that we should study their different cultural characteristics and fuse them i
6、n the end. Today, we are living in an intimately connected society. Though there is still difference in every culture, no one can stop it to be the favorite, and sport isnt exception. When we go to study the worlds sports development, we usually study all the national culture, traditional national s
7、ports even the history of sports itself. It is evident that there is cultural difference between China and Western world. The difference does not only reflect their different values, but also benefits their different sports cultures. This paper make a comparison between the sports cultural of China
8、and western countries on the perspectives of sports cultural characteristics and sports pursuits and gives some suggestions to develop sports culture. Key words: sports culture, Chinese sports culture, Western sports culture, comparison 摘 要经济，政治，文化是当今社会的主要三个活动，而文化在这三个领域中也越来越重要，已成为社会中不可缺少的部分。随着我国体育的不
9、断发展，体育文化引起了国人的浓厚兴趣。外国体育文化，特别是西方的体育文化早已经成为文化中不可分割的要素。奥林匹克运动会作为当今世界体育的竞争平台，同时也是世界体育文化的交流场所，为世界体育文化的繁荣昌盛打下了坚实的基础。我们如何让世界体育文化共同发展，关键是要从国内外体育文化的不同性质研究开始，找到可行之路。当今的时代，已经进入了一个全面发展的紧密联系的时代。在没一个文化现象的背后尽管还有着不同文化之间的具体差别，但谁都无法阻止他们成为全人类的最爱，体育尤其如此。我们探究当代体育的发展就离不开民族文化的研究、民族传统体育的研究甚至世界历史本身的发展研究。中西方体育价值观的 差异是显然的，这种
