Gabbett and Boris Georgieff文献出处: International journal of sports physiology and performance 1(2):95-107 July 2018 (如觉得年份太老,可改为近

2、2年,毕竟很多毕业生都这样做)英文3770单词,26078字符(字符就是印刷符),中文6397汉字。(如果字数多了,可自行删减,大多数学校都是要求选取外文的一部分内容进行翻译的。)The Development of a Standardized Skill Assessment for Junior Volleyball PlayersAbstract:Purpose: To develop a skill assessment for junior volleyball players and to evaluate the reliability, validity, and sensi

3、tivity of the test for detecting training- induced improvements in skill. Methods: Thirty junior volleyball players (mean SD age, 15.5 1.0 years) participated in this study. Subjects performed tests of spiking, setting, serving, and passing skills on 2 separate occasions to determine testretest reli

4、ability of accuracy. Two expert coaches evaluated the players technique and reevaluated it 1 month after the initial evaluation to determine the intratester reliability for technique measurements.A third expert coach determined the intertester reliability for technique measurements. The validity of

5、the test to discriminate players of different playing abilities was evaluated by testing junior national, state, and novice volleyball players. Finally, each player participated in an 8-week skill-based training program. Results: Accuracy measurements and intratester and intertester ratings of playe

6、rs technique proved to be highly reproducible (intraclass correlation coefficient, r, .85 to .98, range of typical error of measurement 0.2% to 10.0%). A progressive improvement in skill was observed with increases in playing level, while training-induced improvements were present in all skill tasks

7、. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that skill-based testing offers a reliable method of quantifying development and progress in junior volleyball players. In addition, the skill-testing battery was useful in successfully discriminating playing ability among junior volleyball players of varying

8、 levels, and it was sensitive to changes in skill with training. These findings demonstrate that skill-based testing is useful for monitoring the development of junior volleyball players. 10、c and anaerobic alactic (ATP-CP) energy systems.3,4 Considerable demands are also placed on the neuromuscular system during the various sprints, jumps (blocking and spiking), and high-intensity court movement that occurs repeatedly during competition.4 As a result, volleyball players require well-de

11、veloped speed, agility, upper body and lower body muscle power, and maximal aerobic power (VO2max).Several studies have documented the physiological and anthropometric characteristics of senior volleyball players,5-8 with the fitness of players typically increasing as the playing level is increased.

12、9,10 Smith et al9 compared physical, physiological, and performance characteristics of national-level and college-level volleyball players and found significantly higher block and spike jumps, 20-m speed, and VO2max in the national-level players. These findings suggest that physiological capacities

In addition, Thissen-Milder and Mayhew10 demonstrated that select physiological and anthropometric characteristics could successfully discriminate among freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity volleyball teams, as wel

Recently, changes in the physiological and anthropometric characteristics of volleyball players in response to training and over the course of a season have

15、 been documented.6,11-13 Studies of the effect of volleyball and physical conditioning training on the physiological and anthropometric characteristics of players are equivocal, with reports of increased,6,11,12 decreased,4 and unchanged fitness13 in response to training. Improvements in VO2max,6,11

16、 speed,12 strength,6 and visual-reaction time6 have been reported after 5 to 10 weeks of volleyball and physical-conditioning training. However, recent evidence has demonstrated unchanged speed, agility, lower body muscle power, and VO2max over a season in junior elite volleyball players.Although volleyball players rely on well-developed physiological capacities, volleyball is also a game that requires high levels of tactical and technical skill.Howe
