14、1 Results.30 4.1.1 Data Collection on the other hand, a growing number of domestic researchers began multiple study of IC on Chinese reality which has promoted the development of IC in China. In 1983, He Daokuan published “An Introduction of a New SubjectCross-Cultural Communication” inForeign Langu
15、age Teaching(1983.2). In the following years, journals likeForeign Language Teaching and Research,Foreign Language Teachingpublished a series of correlative essays, many of which were compiled into the bookCulture and Communication(Hu Wenzhong,1994) andCulture and Language (Wang Fuxiang, Wu Hanying,
16、FLTRP,1994). With the furthering of the opening to the outside world, new theories and views of IC have been introduced into China continuously. Meanwhile, more and more Chinese scholars have begun to pay attention to IC problems in China with a hope to build systematic knowledge of this subject. In 1995, the first China IC international conference was held on which China IC Research Institute was established. Ever since then, 6 international conferences on IC have been organized in China a
