3、cans.ThebookopenedupthemindsofAmericansofallcolorsandfaithstooneofthedarkestandmostpainfulpartsofAmericaspast.In1977RootswontheNationalBookAwardandaspecialPulitzerPrize.Thebooksoldinoneyearmorethanmillioncopiesandbecamethebasisofcoursesin500Americancollegesanduniversities.Roots,thetelevisionmini-ser
