2、 I watched it myself, I ultimately understood my friends feeling.Firstly I must declare that I was infected by my dear friend, he loves Luc Bessonbecause of his wonderful movies directed by him. Such as Wasabi and Arthur andthe Invisibles. The story tells us that Natalie Portman plays Mathilda, a 12
3、-year-old girl. She has amisery life. Her father is involved in handling drugs for a crooked cop called NormanStansfield (acted by Gary Oldman). One day, Mathilda encounters Leon (acted byJean Reno), professional hitman, the little girl is out shopping for Leon whenStansfield kills the rest of her f
4、amily, and fortunately she takes shelter in Leonshouse, Mathilda begs Leon to teach her his skills. Soon she has wormed her way intoevery part of his unusual life. Leon does his best to keep her out of trouble, and afather-daughter bond forms between the two of them. Leon however has littleexperienc
5、e of being either a father or a friend, and is also unable to preventMathilda from pursuing her revenge against Stansfield. When Leon rescued Mathildaat the hazard of his own life, thus the film drew to an end because of his dead. This is a wonderful film. The story, which at first glance is corny a
6、nd silly, actuallybecomes gripping and emotional in the hands of the skilled Jean Reno and that littlegirl. The characters are sympathetic and cute, and one is touched by the depth of therelationship between Leon and Mathilda. The character of their enmy, NormanStansfield, is scary and insane, every
7、 time I saw him in the screen, I always felt hairstands on end. There is real danger and drama throughout the film, yet it never becomes merelyan action film - the characters are too significant for that. The relationship betweenLeon and Natalie is the theme of this film. Every fight is the surround
8、ings of their lifestory. Besson, as always, both makes the film look beautiful and builds plenty ofatmospheres into it. He is clever at directing the figures and the psychology. Nobody2can make more success than him, thats why I appreciate him. The deeply impression that the film gave me is Leon and
9、 his green plant, becausehis favorite plant can represent his soul, peaceful and calm. It also represent heloved his life. So when Mathilda entered his world, she took care of it as he loved, The film made a different view that Leon is professional hitman, but not a badperson, however, the cop is a bad egg. These characters made us think more thanthe theme of this film. This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes. Isaw a killer and a child are changed forever by each other in my mind.3
