15、lveoscillatorperiodsisusedforaspecialfunctionbythe8051coresuchasopcodefetchesandsamplesoftheinterruptdaisychainforpendinginterrupts.Thetimerequiredforany8051instructioncanbecomputedbydividingtheclockfrequencyby12,invertingthatresultandmultiplyingitbythenumberofprocessorcyclesrequiredbytheinstruction
