2、you do for your mother? Ill . .的表达。2难点:（1）单词surprise的读音。（2）句子What will you do for your mother? Ill . .的表达。 情感态度培养学生热爱母亲的情感并学会尽孝道。 教学准备:教学VCD、多媒体课件、单词卡片 教学过程：Step 1. Warming up1、师生互致问候。2、师生自由对话。What date is it today? What date is it tomorrow? Today is the Earth Day. There is only one Earth. So we sho
3、uld protect it. What other festivals are in April? There are so many festivals in a year. What festivals do you know?3. 游戏Guessing GameT: Lets play a guessing game. Its about festival.【设计意图：利用课前的自由对话和游戏环节，拉近师生距离，活跃课前气氛，同时还充分复习了日期的表达法，节日的名称以及相关的活动。唤醒了学生的已有知识储备，为下文的学习打好扎实的铺垫。】Step 2. Presentation and
4、Lead in（一）揭示课题并板书。1、通过语言导入本课课题Mothers Day。T: Today lets talk about Mothers Day.2、 板书课题Unit 4 Mothers Day Part A。3、 课文内容导入。T: Mothers Day is coming, “When is Mothers Day?” Lets have a look, Different years different dates for Mothers Day .Why? As we know, Mothers Day is in May. And it is on Sunday. T
5、his is the first Sunday. This is the second Sunday. Mothers Day is on the second Sunday of May. 【设计意图：通过日历直观呈现母亲节的日期，并渗透给孩子不同的年份母亲节的日期也是不一样的，因为母亲节是在五月的第二个星期天，帮助孩子更好地理解本课的内容。】（二）课文教学1、课文第一自然段学习When is Mothers Day in todays lesson? Lets watch the video.观看完视频，根据问题选择答案。教师进行讲解，帮助学生理解课文。【设计意图：为了帮助孩子更加准确地理
6、解本段文本，我针对When is Mothers Day？这个问题设计了三个选项供孩子们选择。不出所料，许多孩子直接选择文章出现的日期May 8th ,忽视了today tomorrow 给我们的提示。所以通过这样的设计能够训练和提高学生的阅读理解能力。】2、句子教学What will you do for your mother? Ill . .（1）听课文回答问题。T: What will the children do for their mom? Lets watch the video again. T: First, lets ask Ben “What will you do f
7、or mom?”（操练句子：全班个别）（PPT呈现图和句子，让学生说句子。）Ill give her a card, and say, “Happy Mothers Day!”（操练句子：个别全班）（2）教学单词kiss、 loveT：What about Kate? Who can ask her ? Lets listen. She says “Ill give her a big kiss, and say, “I love you!”(出示高老师头像和单词,教学Misskiss）教学love ,注意发音的纠正ov/v/操练句子：“Ill give _ a big kiss, and s
8、ay, “I love you!”【设计意图：通过观看课文视频，聆听文本录音，引入课文新词新句的教学。让孩子感知最纯正地道的英语，并在教师的引导下用心地去操练，去模仿。借助Miss教kiss，降低了学习的难度，又能让孩子牢固掌握。】（3）Ask and answer T: Mothers Day is coming. we can give our mother something, or do something for her. Look, “Ill give my mother a flower and say Happy Mothers Day! And Ill sing a song

Please ask and answer in pairs . 学生同桌问答，展示对话，教师评价。【设计意图：结合文本的句型框架，引导学生根据自己的生活实际，谈一谈母亲节将要给妈妈准备什么样的礼物，为妈妈做什么，向妈妈说什么。培养了小学生的思维能力和口语交际能力。】（4） 教学单词surprise, kindT: What about Sally? What kind of surprise?（突破难音，强调连读的训练）“What kind of surprise?” kind means 种类， “What kind of .?”T: She is a kind girl. kind means 和蔼的,we can say “She is a kind.” “He is a kind .”（5）听音跟读课文T: What kind of

Lets Listen and follow .（6）复述课文内容T: Look at the blackboard and try to retell the story. 【设计意图： 为了激发学生的学习兴趣，更好地理解词义，教师通过直观的表情动作，生动的语气语调，绘声绘色地演绎surprise，巧妙地突破了该难点。在复述课文故事环节，教师引导学生结合黑板上的板书，清晰地把握文本脉络，流畅地完成语言输出，同时巧妙地进行了文本的总结。】Step 3.
