Yao was selected to start for the Western Conference in the NBA All-Star Game eight times, and was named to the 1/4All-NBA Team five times. He reached the
4、 NBA Playoffs four times, and the Rockets won a first-round series in the 2009 postseason. Reacting to Yaos retirement, NBA commissioner David Stern said Yao was a bridge between Chinese and American fans and that he had a wonderful mixture of talent, dedication, humanitarian aspirations and a sense of humor. Shaquille ONeal said Yao was very agile. He could pl
