1、 Unit5 why do you like pandas?教学设计榔坪镇乐园中学 谢霜一、教材分析：本节课的教学内容为Go for it 新目标英语，七年级下册Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? The first period Section A（1a-2c）。本课是一节听说课。首先让学生观看短剧，通过对short play内容的谈论引出动物话题，复习学生已知的动物以及已学过的句型Whats your favorite.? Why do you like .? Because .激活图式，温故引新，铺垫课堂。再通过熊猫玩具的展示，吸引学生注意力，激发学生对本节课学
2、习的兴趣，自然地导入新课。让学生在轻松活泼的气氛中投入到学习中。在导入新课后，通过创设情境，将学生带入动物园，认识更多动物，并运用图文，集中呈现一些常见动物的名称和描述性形容词，让学生认知这些动物并在语境中输入询问对动物喜好的核心句型和重点词汇：Why do you want to see ? Because they are 然后请同学玩猜迷游戏，进一步激发学生兴趣。在熟练掌握基本词汇后，最后再进行句型操练，将词汇贯穿到句型中，以加深学生对词汇句型的熟练掌握程度。本课是本单元第一课时，在整个单元中起话题导入作用。内容贴近学生生活，功能句型都是日常用语，课堂任务应该以培养学生的语言实践能力为目
3、标。二、学情分析 经过一个多学期的中学英语学习生活，学生们已经学过由why, where, what 引导的特殊疑问句，具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提，加之学生在之前学习过有关动物的知识，已具备了相当的情感基础，。许多有关动物的图片和游戏能激发他们的好奇心，产生了解它们的强烈欲望，有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。三、学习目标 1. 知识与能力：Master the vocabulary:koala，tiger，elephant，panda，lion, giraffe, zoo, cute, fun, smart, beautiful, , animal, lazy ,scaryMaste

Why do you want to see them?Because they are interesting.2、语言技能a. 学生能熟练运用目标语言，谈论自己喜爱的动物并给出理由。b. 学生能谈论自己喜爱的其他东西并给出理由，提高学生交际能力。 3、情感目标a.培养学生自觉保护动物的意识。b.使学生更加热爱动物朋友，从而更加热爱大自然，热爱生活。c.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，发扬协作精神。4.学习策略目标: a.能基本听懂含有本课重点词汇和目标语言的听力材料。初步了解 听前预测的技巧，并在听的过程中做到有目的地获
5、取有效信息。 b.学会调动已有知识,根据情景推测句子含义.5. 文化意识目标:了解各种动物的特性,树立保护动物的意识。 四、教学重难点重点：a.熟练用一些动物的词汇谈论自己最喜欢的动物。b.熟练运用动物特点的形容词谈论喜欢某一种动物的原因。难点：a.表达动物的的词义和读音。b.熟练运用所学知识描述动物并谈论喜欢动物的原因。五、教学策略：l、充分利用多媒体等电教资源，进行单词教学。 2、 借助多媒体手段和大量的练习进行语言项目的教学。3. 课堂以学生为主体，以课前、课中、课后为主线，自学、互学、测学渗透其中，重视体验参与，教师起“设计者、研究者、促进者、协调者”的作用。4. 在教学中，突出交际性
6、，注重读写的实用性，注重情感和策略的调整。六、教学过程:Step 1 .Lead-in.1. Watch a short play. Let two students act a short pay before the class. The other students listen carefully and then answer some questions to review the structures Whats your favorite.? Why do you like .? Because they are.At the same time guide the stude
7、nts say more animals that they know to review the animals they have learned before and present the new word animal.2.Show the students a toy panda and then ask the students Whats this ?Do you like pandas? Why do you like pandas? Introduce the new word panda and the title of the new unit Why do you l

9、sShow the students some pictures of animals on the screen, and learn the new words.(First the single form of the word ,then the plural form.)At the same time, present the description words by asking the students if they like pandas and give the reasons.Teacher helps the students to read and understa
10、nd the new words . Students look at the pictures and try to remember the names of the animals and the description words. Ask the students what their favorite animals are and guide them to tell the reasons.设计思路: 通过有关动物图片的出示激发学生对学习单词的兴趣。以图片、音标、单词，先单数，后复数的顺序依次出现的教学内容不仅符合学生认识顺序而且帮助学生提高通过音标记忆单词和通过语境猜想词汇意
11、思的能力。Step 3 . Practice1.Practice the new words by matching them with the pictures of animals.Then check the answers.( 1a)2. A guessing game.Show some covered pictures on the screen and let the students guess what animals they are.The students try to guess and remember the the names of the animals. 设

Because为新知学习作铺垫。Step 4.Listening practice.(1b)Before listening.Guide the students to look at the picture and tell them a boy and a girl want to see the animals in the zoo. What animals do they want to see? Lets listen to the
