An expert in the definition of Marriam-Webster Dictionary refers to one with the special skill or knowledge representing mastery of a particular subject. In my point of view, this definition can be extended: first, an expert in his/her area can not
3、be replaced. Otherwise, he is nothing but small potatoes. Second, an expert himself put much of his efforts into his area. In terms of the two aspects, neither the doctor nor the patient deserves to be called expert. An expert is indispensable to society .However ,is it really easy to develop an exp
4、ert in a short time ?Transparently ,the answer is No !In other words ,an expert needs raise some qualities to sweep barriers away on the road leading to success . In the first place ,an expert is a industrious person .No matter when an expert is being ,he always has a quality of diligence .At school
5、time ,he is hard-working enough at his learning .As consequence ,he has access to advanced education .By the way ,the excellent expert is usually versatile at school.Like Qian Xuesen ,a famous atomic bomb expert ,did well in all subjects including music and painting .Despite the fact that an expert

Thirdly ,an expert is precise .He never says anything which hasnt been proved correctly .He even
9、 carries out hundreds of experiments to verify a simple datum .However ,once he launches a thesis ,the viewpoint is always authoritative .Nevertheless ,his definitive argument doesnt mean he is supercilious .Instead ,he is modest enough to listen to others .But the patient in the picture unexpectedl
10、y regards herself as an expert because of her little understanding about her own disease .How incredible ! I strongly believe that people tend to be an expert instead of versatile one.As society is advancing in high pace ,many countries requires that each citizen should fulfill his task in the social division of labor. As a result , the characters of an expert are worthwhile to attempt at present .Be an expert and be the best . The lifes battle is never won by the fastest or the strongest, but by the man who thinks he can.
