An important task in this period is to consolidate these skills, such as skimming and scanning for information, the skill to figure out some references within

2、the context and the skill to infer the probable result rationally. 2. Students of this class are very good at English. They have good learning abilities and skills. So it is necessary to instruct them in some other lingual skills (writing& speaking skills) besides reading skills. Also, in this lesso

3、n, students will come across some descriptive words and expressions, which the students can later apply in their speaking and writing.Part2. Analysisoftheteachingmaterial The topic of this unit is not only about jobs but also about describing things and people. This period is an intensive reading. I

4、t aims at information inputting. Through the reading, some reading skills will be drilled. And it also offers some good examples to show the students how to make a good description.1. The new words and expressionsThere are many new words in this lesson. However, only few of them make trouble for the
