2、No可以作副词，也可以作名词和形容词；not只能用作副词。现将它们各种用法分述如下，以便比拟：作副词时，no有以下两种用法：（一）作为yes的反义词，用在回答下列问题的场合，表示“不”的意思。例：No，I won”t go to the casino不，我不去*。（二）用在比拟级之前，表示“并不”之意。例：The weather today is no better than it was yesterday今日的天气并不比昨天好。用作形容词时，no表示not any的意味。例：There is no（=not any）time to lose时不行失。注：当no用作形容词时，可直接放在名词之
