This paper focuses on the application of GIS technology in the visualization o

2、f spatiotemporal processes in estuarine and coastal environments. Firstly, the characteristics of estuarine and coastal environments are described, and the factors affecting the spatiotemporal processes of these environments are analyzed. Then, the concept of spatiotemporal process visualization is

3、introduced, and the principles and methods of spatiotemporal process visualization with GIS technology are discussed. Finally, a case study is carried out to demonstrate the visualization of spatiotemporal processes in the Yangtze River Estuary, China.IntroductionEstuaries and coasts are important t

The spatiotemporal processes of estuarine and coastal environments are influenced by many factors, such as hydrodynamics, sediment transport, water qualit

However, due to the complexity and uncertainty of these processes, it is difficult to visualize them using traditional methods.GIS technology provides a powerful tool for the v
